from completed build Ryzen Rainbow Connection (RGB All The Things!)
There seemed to be some QC issues on the first batches that shipped based on newegg reviews, so I was a little apprehensive about potentially dealing with that, but the case arrived in perfect condition. The case was so easy to build in and cable management dead simple--even with all the extra RGB cables and the bulky Strimer extension that I used. My biggest knock on the case would be the mounting location for the SSDs on the cable covers. I'm honestly not sure how anyone could mount them there and not snap off the SATA connector while closing the cover. I wound up going with the optional mounting location; however, the brackets for this are not included with the already expensive case and set me back another $15/ea. The case comes with a vertical GPU mounting bracket, but not the necessary riser cable. I had to get the cable directly from Phanteks as no retailer had them in stock; and even Phanteks only had the premium version in-stock at the time which set me back another $48 after shipping costs. Overall great case, but knocking off a star for the extra ~$100 I had to spend on additional parts to complete my particular build.

Great case. Im not really an RGB overkill person but this case opened my mind about RGB strips in cases. Looks great and I especially love the cable management doors on the back. They are fantastic and make the build look uber clean.

from completed build 2019 AMD Build - Waiting for 3950X (temporary 3600X)
Great build quality overall with amazing aesthetics. The case does get easily unbalanced if the glass panel on either side gets opened without a full system being installed, so watch out for it potentially tipping and falling. Also, cable management covers behind glass panel get very finicky and the bottom cover kept sliding off too easily while working on cable management. PSU shroud should also have been removable, and caused quite a bit of headache during installation, as well as inhibiting easy upgrades and addition of new PSU cables, as you have to awkwardly plug in new cables through a cramped side access hole at 90 degrees to the PSU. No idea why they went with this design for the PSU shroud. Otherwise it comes with lots of features and is a very good case with the usual Phanteks goodness (compartmentalized plastic case for screws for example), but the small headaches dampened the experience greatly.

You can't go wrong with Phanteks cases and this one is one of their best. You might spend some extra time on cable management but it is well worth it because this thing is a beauty. As you can see from my build there is plenty of room and plenty of theme options. Also, there's a ton of options for how to setup your layout including a vertical GPU mount (sold separately but ready for it) and tons of storage interfaces. I would recommend adding another fan or two (I added one 140mm), extra airflow can't hurt and it has the space.
