This GPU has so far been a beast. Running games on at 1080p on a 144hz monitor is easy for this thing, I might upgrade to a 1440p 144hz monitor at some time. I don't doubt this card can handle it. When picking this card I looked up a lot of benchmark videos comparing it to the Nvidia 2070 Super card. I decided the €100 extra for a few frames extra was not worth it in my opinion.

This was the biggest gamble in the build. I've only really used NVIDIA cards historically, so I was really interested to see how the 5700XT compares. As someone who just came from a 2070 Super I must say that the different is non-existent. This card is performing beyond expectations, and I couldn't be more pleased. For the price point, and comparing it to it's NVIDIA rivals, I think grabbing one of these 5700XT cards is a no-brainer, especially if you're lucky enough to have a monitor with FreeSync capabilities. The acoustics on this card are great as well; whisper quiet, even under load with the fans spinning at full speed. I did a fair chunk of research on which 5700XT card was considered the 'best' from a price to performance POV and this Gigabyte card typically came out on top. Steve from Gamers Nexus does a great review of it for anyone considering picking up the card.

from completed build Godot - My first ever build!

For the most part, I'm really happy with this card. It's fast and it's killing games, even when I'm running them in ultrawide. My monitor is overclocked to 75 Hz, so that's all I measure to and I haven't had a single game run at sub-75 FPS unless it was artificially locked.

That said, the software isn't great. There's an annoying pop-up every single time you start a game. I was able to get rid of it, but it was not intuitive -- to get rid of it, you had to delete the hotkeys that the pop-ups were referencing. Other than that, I had a visual glitch about 15 minutes ago while typing up this review and not doing anything demanding, but it was the first and only time I've seen that happen in the week that I've had my computer up and running.

Another complaint about the software is that it's bad about crashing when I open it. The driver I installed today seems to have fixed that issue though. Previously, it would open a semi-transparent window and then fail to load in the rest of the software and just sit on the transparent screen permanently unless it was forcibly restarted.

RGB on this is also pretty terrible. I have the logo "GIGABYTE" in white, but even at max brightness it's so dim it's practically grey.

Overall, I recommend this card, but it's not without some small reservations.

I know everyone is Pulse gang, but this card seems great. Looks good, works well, and was available.

So far so good with this one. Everyone seems to be talking about how hot the 5700 xt runs but I'm not having any issues with temps.

I chose this card in particular because it's value to performance was among the highest for this series of GPU from AMD. I've seen benchmarks showing that it can trade blows with the 2070 and 2070 super in some cases. Unfortunately, this GPU is cursed and after a horrible experience dealing with Canada Computers (they sold me the blower style vs the triple fan design), and changing it to another PCI port (GPU sat right on top of the mobo fan) I got it installed and tried The Witcher 3 at 1080p...Ultra settings with Hairworks on...what a beautiful experience...I'll install a FPS counter soon to see what the frame rate is. So far, so good.

This card is an absolute beast, runs cool, demolishes 1440p gaming, and is the best value you can get as of 2019. Does have driver issues that can be infuriating, but AMD has fixed most of it and is still working out the kinks.

Can achieve 60-80FPS on new AAA games at 1440p Ultra, and would be able to drive high refresh rate monitors at 1080p for sure. Competitive games will easily run high refresh rates even at 1440p. Idles at around 35c, reaches 75c while under full load, and 85c under load for extended periods. Fans don't spin at idle, and runs quiet but not silent at max load.

Card looks nice, it is mostly black and has RGB led of the Gigabyte logo, which looks nice, but the RGB Fusion software is absolute trash, and doesn't provide many options for the RGB. If you do want to control it, download version 1.38 and it will work fine.

Would overall recommend for 1440p gaming or even light 4k gaming. Even more so when Navi matures and the driver issues are fixed.

from completed build My First PC-1440p Gaming

Great gpu especially for a first PC, the advertised base clock is 1605 MHz with the boost clock being up to 1905 MHz. In my first benchmark (Unigine Valley on Ultra) it hit 2026 MHz and was consistently above 1900 MHz, also after about 15 minutes, it was stable at 69 C, though my case has amazing airflow so a more restrictive case might not get as good thermal results

Amazing GPU! Great price to performance. I had no problems with drivers. It has worked perfectly since I got it.
