Easily runs at 4.0GHz, great benchmarks. Not yet fully optimized for gaming as many know, but this will improve in time as developers and manufacturers have more time with the architecture. It will serve my needs for quite a while though.

I was skeptical about going for the most expensive Ryzen 7 chip, but I figured why not, if you build it, they will come. This processor is fast! My previous build was an A8 6600k, going from that to this, is a huge step. The speed is amazing, I can do everything I need at once and not a single issue with speed comes up. Paired with an AIO cooler, it never gets that hot. At peak with a load I hit about 60 degrees max.

I like to keep learning new things for my work and it involves compiling embedded Linux distros, cpu design on FPGAs etc and to say the 1800x destroys the 7700k for my work would be an understatement. In addition this computer is also my gaming console with a tv show/twitch playing on my other monitor. My old 4790k would stutter under my gaming environment but the 1800x handles it like a champ. Had it not been for Ryzen, I would have kept my older cpu, I wasn't going to buy a new 4 core chip in 2017.

AMD is back! - So far no issues with this CPU - Blazing fast and more cores than you can shake a stick at

A productivity/gaming machine! You get to work with eight cores (16, if you set your power options in WIndows to Performance), and works fast. It's used for my first build, after deciding between 7700K or this. Well worth it! :D

Nice smooth Processor eats everything i throw at it..If you dont need all this power try its little Brother the R5 1600X for half the Price and OC and get close to the same performance.
