from completed build Malefix (my first build since 2005)
So far so good. I am very pleased with that board: 4 DDR3 slots, 32GB support, XMP support, LGA 1150, H97 chipset, 6 SATA III, effective fan control, 4 USB 3.0, HD sound. Lets see how many years it will last.
Excellent budget mainboard!!!

The Gigabyte motherboard was a component which shaped the build in a way as I initially wanted to dual boot Mac OSX. Although plans have changed now due to fears of another system failure (my little heart probably could not handle another issue and panic attack like I had with the memory), I can still Hackintosh the build if I choose.

Not a fan of the yellow/gold accents, but a rock solid board. 3 4-pin fan headers in addition to the CPU header too, which is the perfect amount.
The biggest complaint is the 2 PCI slots. Yes, PCI, not PCI-E. Even when this was initially released surely these were becoming obsolete?

Can't complain about this one either. It has some basic overclocking features and just enough ports for expansion and upgrades. I do wish it had some sort of built-in PWM controller for adjusting and fine-tuning fan speeds (it has 3 case fan headers and 1 CPU fan header which is nice).

A little small, but I can't complain. Nice price for a quality product. 10 dollar rebate, too!

from completed build (OLD) Mid Range Gaming: i5-4590/GTX970 "Ferrous"
Does exactly what its supposed to do. The BIOS is a bit minimalistic and somewhat laggy/unresponsive for lack of a better word. However, it has the features I need and does what I need it to do. It only has 3 fan headers in addition to the CPU fan header as a word of caution. The board also had some very minor flex behind the CPU socket after installation of the stock Intel CPU cooler. Of note, the board is only Crossfire compatible (not SLI).
Note: this board was actually purchased for a dead ASRock H97M Pro4 board, which died on me after approximately 2 weeks of use. This board has shown no problems.

Basic mobo for standard features. USB 3.0 front header is useful as well.

from completed build A fairly decent build for MOBA and Unity
Between this and B85M-D3H, I toss-coined the decision and went for this. The only key difference is between the SATA ports (in case I want to fill everything up) and not anything else. I also am a "fan" boy, so I chose the 2 boards that has the same amount of fan headers on the motherboard. Only downside I got is that the LAN port was dead so I went back to the store and replaced it within the day. Everything's running fine now

Fine sturdy motherboard, I was a bit rough with it during the installation, but didn't break anything, its definitely a good piece of equipment.

Great little board - automatic bios ordering so installing windows via USB was easy, driver installation gave no hitches, usb3 works by default
