Just used this in my first PC build, and it was very easy to work with. My computer posted on the first try. Everything on the board was clearly labeled, and the BIOS updated with no problems.

Good looking board, I had trouble finding a decent black/white board for my 3700x

Beautiful looking motherboard, I only got this due to the silver accents on the VRM heatsink. RGB software is alright, but I can't open it a second time for some reason. I would need to restart Windows to resolve it. You can control the lighting in the BIOS anyway, so I'm not too bothered. I sync this with my G.Skill Trident Z sticks, they work well together.

Based on bang for bucks; great mobo with plenty of newest utilities and overall clean aesthetics.

Very happy with this motherboard so far. I debated going with the B450 Steel Legend to save about $80 bucks, but ultimately decided to just go with it to avoid having to flash BIOS to get the CPU working.
Either way it seems to be a very well built board. I love the white digital camo design, and the RGB on the two heatsink blocks.
The chipset fan seems to be silent near as I can tell. The whole system runs very quiet, so I feel like I would be able to hear it if it were making noise.
Aside from the price and aesthetics, I picked this board for the 3 pin 5V addressable RGB header, which I wanted in order to control the RGB fans. It does work, and I'm pleased enough with it, but the ASRock RGB software is buggy and unstable - but frankly that just seems to be par for the course with RGB control software.

I spent a lot of time choosing this. Ive had ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI m/bs in the past and I think the driver support setup it is better on the others. The board itself works great. I chose this because it was fully USB3 with a couple of 3.1 gen2 ports. My only concern is the temp of the sb, 71c with the fan on full. I don't even have a m.2 drive adding to the temp either.

Overall a really solid motherboard, I believe the instructions could be better for a newbie. Posted from the first time but I had a problem with RAM modules, it didn't recognize the second RAM module, after some BIOS update and restarts it recognized it and played DUAL Channel @3200. Another con is that the main PCIe slot is very close to the processor socket so there is not enough space between the CPU cooler and the GPU. Be careful with those big Air CPU coolers!

Awesome motherboard with ALMOST all the connections I needed. Needed to buy a splitter to power an additional fan. The lighting and M.2 shield are awesome, and the BIOS worked on boot-up.

its so nice to have everything I need! Bio's where a bit harder then my first build with the Tomahawk but I figured it out and booted first time.. Took the whole next day to get ram timings set but I got that sorted out now too. I got it for $158.00 so even better!
