Amazing SSD with amazing Boot speeds. Only ever have 2 games loaded onto it at a time. At the moment it is BattleGrounds, and I am loading textures and buildings from the moment a game begins, whilst others struggle to load buildings after landing on the ground.

This is my boot drive, and brings me to the lock screen in mere seconds. This is pure overkill for my needs, but making those loading times on select games and software is such a convenience.

Samsung 850 EVO Pro SSD is just FAST.. Have it split into 2 partitions. One of about 20G for Linux Mint 64 and the Rest for /home .... There's no place like /home !! Paid the Extra bit of Cash to get the Pro just to see the little "Red" Tab on the Drive to match up with the Red and Black Deadpool Theme. Honestly

It's a lot faster than my laptop. It boots faster than my laptop can wake up. I would recommend something larger if you plan to put files and games on it.

Wouldn't buy separately. The Evo is a better choice. I got this on a combo deal that came in line with other ssd's so I got it. Well, now that I have it, it's great. System boots in 5 secs. Would get again(with combo deal). (:
