Works great, not a fan of some of the software that comes with it. I opted to not install some of it.

from completed build Skylake 1070 | First Time Build

Makes a very loud sound on boot up or whenever it reads discs.

For as long as I've had it, it worked beautifully. However, as the PC meta changes, so do cases. Now it's being barely used and collecting dust on my desk, plugged in externally via a SATA to USB 3.0 adapter. Otherwise, it's a good product.
