Dream machine. The MSI app provides options to customise the colours (if you're into this kind of stuff) and overclock it with one-click.

Bought it just to pair brands with the MSI board, because the red elements of the card is going against the theme I was going for. Thanks to the instructions from another user here on pcpartpicker, I thought I would manage by plasti dipping the red parts. It was easy to remove the shroud, and also without breaking any warranty stickers.

Absolutely incredible card. It's completely inaudible under load. Some may say it's overkill for 1080p144hz but having 200fps in all the games I play at ultra graphics is completely worth it

Total monster. Looks incredible with black/red styled setups. Outlandishly expensive but slays any game you want to play.

Upgraded from a 970. Runs extremely cool on its own. Temps as low as 30°C. Never seen it get above 70°C. Destroys any game I play (PUBG, League, Overwatch, CS, H1).

-GPU: 2 MSI GeForce GTX 1080Ti Gaming X : I was gonna go with one 1080Ti, but my wife bought me another. I do have them running in SLI and yes I see the difference, but only in certain games. Still a great purchase for the future.

Excellent piece of overkill. Have been able to run the core at 2050mhz without too much experimentation.

Quiet? Yes. Cool? Yes. Powerful? Yes. Big...yea, but all the 1080 Ti are. Weighs as much as the rest of my system combined though...

Undervolted/overclocked to : 1950mhz @.925 Volts.
+300 on the memory.
Card never breaks 70C, and is virtually silent.
In games/benchmarks, it just sits at 1950 mhz constantly, and makes no audible noise.
I'm an EVGA fanboy, I previously tried an SC2 Hybrid, FTW3, SC Black, all of them were way too loud, default fan profiles are insanely loud. Asus Strix cards have that annoying fan ramp-up while the card is idling.
MSI Gaming X is the go-to card for silence freaks. The MSI Torx fans are the quietest /smoothest of any GPU I've ever tried, and the huge heatsink really helps dissipate the heat of the 1080ti chip.
Really not a fan of the red color, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Performance/quietness>aesthetics.
