Works for what I need, nice lighting, good bios for someone new from my experience being new
Great board, but the Intel I219-V nic is a massive pain to install... gotta uninstall the random device in device manager and then try manually installing the driver through device manager from the cd or downloaded driver files...
Great motherboard but a little overkill for my needs. I could have waited for a cheaper board to come out but i wanted a pc now and this was on sale so I don't regret getting this one.
This is as no-frills as you're getting for the Z370 platform, but that doesn't make it bad by any means. I have a 5.0ghz OC running on an 8700k and temps across the board (ha) stay under 50 c. If you want to save a buck on your Z370 platform and don't need crazy power phases or modern-art VRM heatsinks this should serve you admirably.
Nice Mobo. Had some bugs with bios settings but after few updates it become nicer. But i wouldnt recommend to a friend...
After using an ASUS 970 chipset mobo this is much better. No overheat and adjustable fan speed curve even for 3 pin fans makes it better. Old one would heat like hell (the part between CPU and GPU) but this one stays cool during gaming and I can touch the metals without getting burned at its hottest. Has some led lights that can dance with music that I am not a fan of but still there. I think the best part is its bios - very intuitive, easy and quite functional at the same time.
Brilliant functionality, LEDs are a bit weak but not why you buy a mobo I suppose. Lots of slots for case fans, although they're in slightly awkward places.
Its pretty good
