The PoweLink is a lifesaver. My GPU was too close to the side of my case, causing the power cables to pinch and torque the GPU. Installing this solved my problem, and improved the looks of my rig.

Purchased this awhile back when I found it for a decent amount. Simple to install and creates a nice clean look for the system. I do not think I would pay full price for one, but not bad if you can find it on sale.

I didn't get to use this because it doesn't fit. The clip is upside down for most video cards. I wish they would have made it adjustable for the direction of the clip; OR offered different orientation options for purchase; OR been more clear about which cards this fits, and which ones it doesn't. Any one of those would have been nice.

This is not a great-looking device—EVGA could improve this with some very minor changes. But they won't, because a redesign means re-tooling and re-testing, as well.

But it does seem to work well for maximizing air flow and cable management, and that's why I bought it. I installed this in both of my Ryzen builds.

    Installation can be tricky:

    • You need to make adjustments with the tool provided, which can be challenging.

    • If your GPU uses 8+6 power connections, which my 1080 Ti does, you must change out one of the 8-pin connectors with the included 6-pin. I recommend doing this outside of the case, and over a surface where you can find the microscopic hex screws if they are dropped. Fortunately this device comes with extras.

    • And finally, as others have found: removing this from your GPU will require completely removing the connectors from the PowerLink using the included hex tool. So you should carefully line everything up and make sure the fit is perfect before fully committing and clicking this thing into place on your card.

Overall this was worth the low price I paid for two of them ($11 and $14). Although I would hesitate to spend the hiked price of $20 on Amazon for this. B&H still sells this for cheaper.

Note: Apparently this device has some basic power filtering that spreads the power load more evenly across the two power connections, which might not be the case otherwise. I can't verify this, unfortunately.

Honestly I probably could've done without this device. I just thought it would help with my cable management.

I give it 5 stars because it works like it is supposed to. In a build that maybe was tight on space this would be a huge benefit because you install your power cables on the side instead of on the top. I'm actually debating taking mine out and and just running my cables into the card itself.

An RGB option would be nice as it does cover part of the lighting on the card.

Great little part from EVGA just for a little bit of extra cable management.

Decided to go with the power link to clean up the look of the gpu cables being in front.

I got it for free from EVGA. After I attached it to my GPU. I realized that it was also probably never coming off. Those of you who own one of these, know exactly what I'm talking about.
