Aha, that worked, was a bit afraid of doing it but it's worked with an update, thank you
So it's not as simple as just choosing the DOCP Profile in Bios or as difficult as changing all of the settings manually? I've tried both options while following tutorials online and it just doesn't seem to make a difference. Is there possibly something else i need to do?

Okay, Thanks for the help, I was looking at the wrong info, thought the frequency was the actual speed it was running at, not the xmp profile in CPU-Z.
I'm guessing this is what I should be looking at and doubling: https://imgur.com/a/YLR3yWC
Still shows different in task manager though: https://imgur.com/a/OkBIaxu
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, I know what it's like.
This is a cheaper alternative -
I went away and decided to make a list based on your recommendations and came up with this. I'm quite set on purchasing an RTX enabled card, I'm not sure whether that's a bad idea but, without RTX the card still performs well when I looked at benchmarks.
Also in terms of motherboard, I believe my case can take an atx board and I thought having two slots for PCIE ×16 would be helpful for graphic card upgrades, I'm not sure whether I could use my existing card and the new one together, but even later if I decide to get a second card I could use that.
Yeah i know, it's a bit overwhelming at times haha. Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it as I'm still pretty new to upgrades and components. Is it alright if I have any more questions later to ask for your help?
Yeah I've already measured the Geforce RTX 2060 and it fits well inside the case, I just was confused on what brands of gpu and ram you can use with a motherboard, but it's only the cpu and motherboard that have to be the same brand, isn't it?
Also after having a look at the case it does seem to support a larger mother board, which I'm guessing is an atx size
So could I put any gpu I wanted with the motherboard? And also does the my current ram have to change as well?
Ok, thank you very much, I might have to go to a micro-atx board and I was already looking at an ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2060, 6GB, but I'm not sure if that will work?
Alright sounds good
ram is DDR4 2133, 256Gb SSD and 1Tb hard drive and my budget is about $900 Australian
Main focus is the motherboard, cpu and gpu at the moment
Okay, this is the current system I'm running -
CPU - i5 6400 @ 2.7GHz
Motherboard - MSi B150M Bazooka
RAM - 8GB Hyperx Fury
GPU - XFX Radeon RX 470
PSU - be quiet Pure Power 9 500W
Operating System - Windows 10 Pro
I'm looking to go to an AMD based system now, as people have been saying it's a better option for pricing and performance
