Yes - you will be fine - there is plenty of room in this case. Plus it's NZXT with NZXT - can't go wrong :)
Try etsy - lots of variation found here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/search?q=winter+is+coming+decal
Hiya Fireislife, I just bought it online. It is a Vinyl Decal. Use the website etsy. They are really easy to apply if you do it carefully and pretty cheap. See the link - maybe a red House Targaryen logo if you are going go the the red/black them:
Be sure to message me your build/how you get in with it, would love to see a fellow Targaryen build :)
I asked the same questions to the forums because i was concerned about the same issue. Honestly you cannot even tell it is brown - even up close - you will never notice that it is brown and it will save you £100 or so :) GL
Clean as ****! you really should have gone for the Galax/KFA2 HoF GTX 980Ti - it's white - I've got it in my build check it out - looks sick!
Thank you :)
Thanks for the info, I used the Cable Mod kit in my white build on my profile but my cable management is not half as neat as yours, simple because you've used so many ties. I'll have to check out the velcro roll ties, because they make it look very uniformed and neat - good job. I was looking at this case - it is very nice. I they make it in white, it's an instant buy for me :)
What cables did you use and what cable ties did you use - after seeing this I think i need more cable ties and my cable management is fairly neat :)
Nice to see a NAS build. Really appreciate the honest review of the case too, shame about case, it looks so good...
Thanks for the comments, glad you like the build This is the issue with building a PC - the Kingston Hyper Fury x is only available white in DDR3 not DDR4 - but there is white DDR4 on the market - it's just more expensive and harder to finder. The Sabertooth board would be nice - but it could be another 6 months before it releases. If you need any help on your build let me know and link me yours when your done :)
I'm not gonna lie, I had some real issues too. White DDR4 is out there but it is very hard to find atm, it will get easier with more wide spread adoption. I'm from Great Britain and I bought the White Ninja Panram set from Overclokcers.
Please see the link: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/panram-ninja-v-16gb-4x4gb-ddr4-pc4-19200c15-2400mhz-quad-channel-kit-white-pud42400c154g4njw-my-000-pr.html
However you might not be able to get it in another country, try searching for Geil White Dragon 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 OR Ballistix SPORT LT 32GB (4X8GB) DDR4.
I thought exactly the same thing as you - I was wondering whether I should get the krait too. I opted for this mobo. You can only tell that it has a slight brown tint when it is an inch away from your eye, otherwise it looks black.
I would recommend this motherboard - especially over the deluxe version too. They only one I would recommend otherwise is a mobo that got announced at CES 2016 - the ASUS Z170 S (sabertooth) - it is white motherboard with a digital camouflage. It's not out for another 3-6 months though. so if you building soon - give for this mobo.
Wow, you've managed to fit a lot in that case - clean build however I would highly recommend getting sleeved cables by cable mods or similar - will make it look so much better.
ha ha - yea check out the build - the motherboard does have a slight brown tinge but much darker than I originally thought - you only notice it from right up close.
Check out the build - CLEAN AS ****
Wow, big praise, thanks man. I tried my best - gonna be taking some better pictures with the SLR over Christmas. It is super clean and runs like a dream, very pleased with it.
If you write to customer support I found them very useful. They have changed the fans / change of design recently and you, like myself will probably have the new fans. Mine run at 100% and are pretty quite. It is not the quietest case because of the window, but i'd suggest doing the same as me and leave it as the standard setup and just hook up your kraken/cpu cooler unless you can find a work around
I haven't set them up to run off/with the motherboard actually - my temperatures are cool enough as they are: under 20 degrees for normal workload. The fans will automatically work at default if you use the hub.
However, from my understanding you have to unplug all the fans from the hub and plug each header into the motherboard, which would make the build look messy so that's we I haven't bothered.
If you do find a solution where you can just plug in one header , please let me know. :)
Cable Management at the rear is good, but i'd recommend routing the kraken cables differently and your Motherboard cables differently - they are all over the place! Check out my build for how to route them nicely.
Case = WOW! Do they do it in white?
How was the case to work with?
Not keen on your colour choices - green fans wtf!?
Personally I Would have preferred an all white build with RBG LEDS, like mine but each to their own
*Get some braided cables though for sure to make it look even cleaner :)
Hiya, thanks. I bought the White Ninja Panram set from overclokcers. Please see the link:
What a Dad! - good parenting - amazingly clean build - gratz +1
jealous of your work bench area/tool wall :P
I emailed NZXT about the best fan setup for the case. They said it is already set up in the best way.
3 Fans at the front intake
1 fan at the rear exhaust
2 fans on the front of the Kraken X61 at the top as exhaust (same way around as the exhaust fan)
You have this setup because hot air rises. If you have the top fans intake too, you will get a cross flow of air inside the case, with not enough exhaust. The 3 at the front is plenty.
The case may run a little warmer than other cases but it's because the case is a lot quieter and looks a lot cleaner than other cases. Your components might run 1 or 2 degree warmer than other cases but if you get a good cooler like the X61 you won't have an issue.
Ha ha, no problem man. That's what this community is all about - helping each other out :P And yes, I would definitely get this KFA2/Galax HOF 980 ti over the Zotac, better performance and aesthetics.
And this is the beauty of a white build that some people don't understand - it can be whatever colour you want it to be with RGB LEDS :)
If you are going for this case - it is a dream to work with. The hard-drive bays come with individual thumb screws for each one so it couldn't be easier! You can see them in the pictures.
As for the fan controller - I've just used as stock - it's not the best controller out there but unless your are planning to do some serious overclocking - as in past 4.8Ghz there is no need to replace it - you can always plug you fan header into your motherboard. ASUS has great on board fan controller system.
Make sure you message me your build when you're done :)
Hi, thanks for checking out the build. The GPU is massive, probably ones of the largest after-market GPUs there is. And yes it does have 3 fans underneath - but this is rated as one of the best GPUs on the market - the larger the GPU the better the cooling and better FPS...usually :P However If you get a case with removable hard-drive trays like this one then there is no problem, I've had to take out 1/2 hard drive trays but the case has 8 - I don't need 8!I've seen a build with 2 of these GPU in, and one day I will probably upgrade to have 2.
As for the RGB LEDs - buy them - especially this brand - wow - lights up the entire case and the entire room! They are dimmable too so if too bright you can turn them all the way down to nearly non visible - very cool LEDs
What the actual ****! Ha ha, it is fantastic and disgusting all at the same time...
1 WORD = CLEEEEEAN!
I'm pumped and the pre-order is more than likely - based on how good the beta is....
Beta runs from 8th -12th October - pre-load available from the 7th.
System Minimum Specs have just come out:
Glad I've just finished my new build specifically made to play the new Star Wars and Fallout 4 found here:
I went for the same setup as you but went for the H440 for the square edges and the single 980ti HoF to keep the white theme. 2 980ti's must be insane ha ha
ha ha thanks - I gambled and got the 6x6 - i was going for a white H440 build with RGB but when i saw the Targaryen decal, I thought I must have it - check out my build :)
clean build - i would spin the H100 the other way around so the tubing is on the right when your looking at it though personally
You are correct - the house colours are black and red - but - I wanted a white build because then I can change the colours to be what ever I choose. I can make it red if I choose :) I just support House Targaryen :)
ha ha thanks, the true Heir to Westeros
Type - was supposed to say wasn't* :)
Hi, thanks for the comments. KFA2 or also known as Galax in the USA. The Hall of Fame Edition is personally developed by 8 Pack - who is one of the best overclockers in PC architecture - currently first/second in the world on many of the Benchmarks. So yes it is a good card :)
they just said 2-5 days - but all my products from bespoke offers said that - and they all arrived in 2-5 days - most of them were by fireworks direct - everything worked and was in good order - my CPU cooler was from overclockers at like 20% discount ha ha
about 2 days - Fireworks Direct - check out the build - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/MrjcCJ
cool, thank you
That case though...
If your int he UK - i suggest buying it ASAP as it seems to sell out pretty fast
I did the above and my build looks sick - no issues, still downloading all my software - i'll post the build picures at the weekend starting 03/10/15 hopefully
I had the same issue - personally i went for the 6700k with the Asus Z 170-A motherboard and Kraken x61 cooler
I'm not a hardcore editor yet
I mainly game but FrankieonPCin1080p managed to use the i7 4790k for years and he does a lot of editing and steaming so if you've got loads of spare cash - go for it - but I spent the money on a 980 ti Hall of fame - and it destroys everything on ultra in 2k :)
the x99 was a bit overkill tbh and there is more variation in individual CPU speeds on the 5820K
I am not too knowledgeable on overclocking yet so I thought I'd start with the 6700K and when the next gen of enthusiast chips come out I might upgrade
The 6700k kills it though - super fast - my base clock is 4.1Ghz no overclocking and runs super cool
Right, I've cracked it - mainly thanks to @griffscavern link to NCIX with Linus and this link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ2bllrhefM
it was easy - it's just that I couldn't find how to find it on windows 10 - so the link above helped me out - ha ha - new operating systems - such a ball ache to learn - but I'm liking windows 10 so far - apart from those 2 issues :)
windows 10 - the device manager doesn't have an option to volume or initialise the HDD
I've managed to fix the audio - don't know why it wasn't working- windows said it had the latest drivers so I disabled nvidia sound driver un-installed old drivers and went to realtec website and got drivers from there - it seems to work now - madness - I'll try your guys attempts on the HDD now
had to go with the Panram Ninja 4 x 4Gb set as I was desperate to build this weekend ha ha - they look good though tbh
However - i have just found this link:
it states windows 10 Home can support 128GB RAM
