Bought myself a msi 1080ti gaming x for $520 on Ebay used and from the reviews others bought it was like new and so was mine not a lick of dirt on it, and it work with no problem, screw those 2080 prices.
i found out it was the icue and the live dash that controls the water pump and lighting, software fighting over who has priority i guess a fight breaks out and it shuts down. it been 4 days now and no shut down, after i uninstalled them.
Yeah gonna get a better psu, thank for the help though.
I just put my bios settings to default, my CPU was overclocked out the box, by 12 percent, my memory too, @3000 mhz, default is 3.9 to 4.1 when needed stock, memory 2133 stock, ran a stress test, and i also hooked up corsair link to manually have the fan spin @800 rpms ,it was on for 5 hours with no shut down.
Yeah, ive never heard or seen the fan running, it only runs when i press the test button, and i can feel really warm air coming out.
Ok I'll try that
When it shuts off there are still lights that are on its a hero vii Motherboard but pressing the powere button does nothing, i have to switch off the button on the power Supply in the back till the lights go out then turn it back on . I have a 49" 4k sony tv i use as a monitor the tv is still on , but the pc shut down no warning. When i first put on the water cooler it had pre applied thermal paste, i had to reposition the cooler so i cleaned off the paste, and applied mx4 thermal paste, my cooler shows ryzen temps @ 33°c goes no higher than 41°c in pc load.
I just bought it, its not even 2 months old, was thinking of getting an evga model, heard there pretty good. Is 850 watts to low u think? And the fans not spinning, its a htx 850i corsair i heard it only spins when needed, but whats in my case is pulling enough to kick it on i think and its not.
Roger that, will post back with results.
Yeah i can, just deciding between the board u have and the Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero.
Sounds the same, its lists incompatiblites , x370 chip set bios needs update to be compatible with what im using.
I'm going to start my first pc build, I'm coming from console gaming, pcpartspicker list incompatiblites with ryzen 7 2700x ,what issues did u encounter or is pcpartspicker guesstamating?
