I would also add, dont dock points of a case you regret picking. Its a big case because its a full tower. Next build go with a mid tower perhaps. The phanteks enthoo pro M is a good example and keeps most of the look from the full tower.
Pretty nice. People might tell you to flip that PSU over but since its on carpet that is perfectly fine. I would still find some small bits of wood to lift your computer of the ground if you do flip it back.
Are Samsung m.2 ssds worth it by the way? I have always been a cheapskate and even though I do earn a lot more money and I have a pretty baller setup I might post on here (old setups still posted), I still never really go for the most high end or expensive stuff because there always seems to be a cheaper alternative or I just find good used/opened deals online.
What is that Lego set? Looks like one of the really old ones from 2000.
Tidy your room. My goodness. You really didnt budget your parts well.
Very nice indeed.
My opinion would be to start over if you can as I have been upgrading my PC for years and changing it out and honestly when Ryzen Launched it should have been a sign to actually save money and start from the beginning.
What kind of PSU you got there too?
Get the new zen2 iGPU CPUs. They are literally amazing. 1080p gaming on most games now. GTA V on high.
Nice build. Was this a gift or did they pay you to make it? Just wondering :D
Only thing i dislike about this build is that its RGB in a case with NO WINDOW! :D
Reminds me of Mustafar.
Not bad at all!
Lets get this to the top!
Reminds me of some alien-esk egg or some sort of object from the animated Justice League/ Young Justice (any) alien invasion episodes or from Ben 10 (any) alien invasion episodes.
Really sexy, sleek and defo different to anything i have seen, ever!
I am surprised it doesn't fall over a lot :D
The GPU doesn't match the one in the pictures. The RX 580 doesn't have heat pipes to cool the card and it comes with a backplate.
Looks like an older R9 card. But nice job going with Ryzen. Their CPU's are just dropping in price and now with the 3000 series announced, used Ryzen CPU's are going to be cheap!
Not bad at all. love the setup. Lots of SSD storage i see!
Very nice indeed
Thank you very much! I'll take a look at both as well as the be quiet fans and probably look at replacing them in the next week or so.
Oh boy. You have a lot to learn :D. Welcome
Take a look on their website?
Also that case is just amazing. Shame its not made anymore
Just brilliant. You have done loads of research and this sure looks to have paid off. What do you think of the 1070 by the way? Can it still run games on high with such a good monitor?
I always Upvote budget builds as they can be really creative or just wholesome.
Cheers, will do!
They wanted to change it because they thought it was necessary now they have been working on a new website and seen the differences. So even if there isn't anything wrong with the previous version of the mobile UI, it's always nice for a change. I'm sure they can revert the change if things go drastically wrong.
It comes back In a couple months. Be patient. I'm sure you can deal with the desktop version on mobile for a little while.
Read it again
I was annoyed about the desktop layout on my phone when I didn't know what was going on.
Read this. Now I'm happy.
Take your time and do it how you want it. Don't let us rush you. Maybe I'm British so I deal with frustrating things like this a bit better but overall I'm sure I'll manage in the meantime. Good luck on the coding. I never really liked web development much. xD
I see we have a nearly-full corsair fanboy here.
PSSST, your missing their SSDs and Headset
Its not piracy per say, but it is still in violation of Microsoft's Terms of Service when using the Windows OS. They don't permit the use of keys/ licences sourced from companies who get them at a discount to be used as a standard licence and if they catch you, watch out for that fine.
Overall he is right. Any windows key that isn't bought from a certified retailer is violating the terms of service for re-selling keys without Microsoft's consent. Then the purchase of said keys is also a violation of the terms.
Overall, Get a legit one from Microsoft directly. Its cheaper.
Still an amazing build regardless though. Personally i would have gone with this one over the one you linked due to the fact that he spent more on the PSU getting something that is more efficient, and the fact that Ray-tracing is still a bit of a fad right now as only 2 games support it and even then they look amazing without it anyway.
The only thing that build does better is the CPU, However, quad core is still very much relevant and he has a z370 motherboard so he can upgrade to it in the future if needed.
What do you think of the Blu-ray drive? Is it loud on operation like most drives seem to say? I've been looking into upgrading my current PC into a full tower with at least a Blu-ray drive and maybe just a standard CD reader as well as a fan controller.
I know USB DVD and Blu-ray drives can be cheaper and i could spend more getting a really nice case without any drive bays, or very few.
However, with that being said, i do miss using my dad's PC where he is using a DVD drive as it seems to come in from time to time for watching films or just generally being there.
Who else thinks this is a stolen build?
He didn't. I think this is someone else's PC or something else.
How can you tell?
Nah he sold his body :DDD
How did you get the cooler so cheap?!
Cheers. I've decided i might as well stick with it and get it sold.
Brilliant! Thank you!
Ah Ok. well i'm not concerned about the speed of hard drives so i guess ill look at getting the slower ones if they don't make as much noise.
Thank you very much!
Probably around 4TB. I don't mind getting less, but I'd like to keep all my existing videos together
Ah ok yeah i didn't do much research as at the time it was a more impulse buy as it was going quite cheap compared ti its normal NEW price, and i wanted something that was fully modular and gold.
I live in the UK, my full system is an i7-6700k, MSI 1070 gaming, 1TB m.2 NVME, 1TB sata SSD, 2x1TB WD blue and 4TB wd blue (for now, im wanting to get more storage soon unless i build a cheap NAS instead) and i think that's about it.
My budget is basically anything under or around £100 as i know good PSU's are expensive and i expect to pay that much for an SFX PC i'm going to be doing in the coming months as it is. I know its not the same, but i'm willing to spend that much now i know how important a good PSU is.
Now that's dedication for a red and black build. Love it!
Very nice. How does the 780 do in modern games btw? Can it compete with a 1060 3GB for example? as well as the 970 and RX 570 4GB as i believe they are all in the same sort of price range.
I see someone is a fan of blue.
