Its actually sad to read this Sir. Seeing this kind of misconception that ended with your other comment saying "i personally never did clubbing." Clubbing must have a very different meaning in my world.

Look "clubbing" and having a nice drink out with friends are TWO completely different things. I am going off what clubbing means around where i live IE going to abandoned buildings and getting f*ed up and in many cases doing fed up things, guess it means different things in different places.

The reason why i said i never personally went clubbing is because i lost too many friends to drug addictions and directly stemmed from "clubbing". I will admit that post was much more emotional than my usual but i stand by each word i said.I didn't want OP to do anything they might regret.

Through various ROM sites, i am a hoarder when it comes to ROMS as they will last forever and are free. I have a ROM for almost any game i ever played as a child.

Physical collections not so much because im not rich enough to have a collection of any kind that involves spending money.

AMD is definitely an anomaly in the sector ( microchip manufacturing ) and took me at least 6 hours of research to finally feel comfortable buying in ( i think i bought 4 months ago ) and that research definitely paid off in the end. Anyways when you start to invest i'd wait for a significant dip before you buy AMD stock, regardless of any other factors.

Anyways i agree with your point on learning how a company works before investing because researching stocks will allow you to sift through the mediocrity and you'll almost always come out ahead of most investors.

My parents have 2 dogs ( both of which have names that would get me banned if i post them ) so i'll just refer them as DOG A and DOG B.

DOG A is 6 years old, and honestly just lays on the floor all day and farts, occasionally gets up to eat/drink or use the bathroom, mind you he hasn't been outside in almost a year outside of 2 vets visits. DOG A is a bulldog mixed with some other breed, i dont know what breed hes mixed with.

DOG B is like 9 months old and is the exact opposite of dog A, that little cry baby like to howl in front of peoples doors in the middle of the night because he needs constant attention. I take him out for walks quite often and he literally dominates over all the pets ( which include 2 cats ) despite being like 10 pounds. DOG B is a pug mixed with what looks like a wiener dog.

Honestly all the juiciest threads have already been mentioned by other people or yourself. So unless LTT or someone else famous makes a thread here anytime soon OT really wont change much.

Big iron is a classic but...

Stardew Valley beats all other Game OST's in my opinion, by far. It serves its purpose well in immersing you into the world around you and sounds great at the same time. Only OST i have ever bought because it goes towards the ONE GUY that made not only the music but the whole game.

Of course Nintendo franchises like Mario, Zelda and Pokemon will always have a place in my heart but i have to restrain myself because i could spend an entire day listening to only of the 3 franchises OST'S because they are that consistently good.

DayZ, definitely controversial but still a fun game to play if you have friends with ya.

Team Fortress 2 because unlike overwatch has a development team that actually cares about its players.

Fallout New Vegas and 4, as the the "third" installment of the series is really overrated.

Doom 2016 is fun one aswell though i only have 30 hours on it.

My Gigabyte gaming 7 z370, it serves its purpose well and the default light color matches the theme of my build, its got sturdy PCIE slots which is always good. VRM cooling that is pretty good and has 2 NVME slots, a duplicate BIOS ( forgot the technical term ) so if one ever gets corrupted the other BIOS will automatically be flashed and work upon restarting. Plus the out of touch with reality stickers were a nice prank to one of my friends.

The only problem is i cant get the temperature gauge to work, so according to my temperature gauge it is only 8 degrees C inside my case.

Too be honest here the only eCommerce i have done is from 2018 to late 2019 i flipped a few dozen PC's on Ebay.

I paid a friend of mine to make some good thumbnails showing him only the best shots i got, you can usually make a decent return if you pay the artist well and price it in accordingly. For the PC's itself i mostly built RGB systems and sleepers, i couldn't really get any other kind of build profitable is such an over saturated market. I also incorporate the shipping costs into the build with a bit of profit ( usually ) and found that it sells faster when it says "free shipping". Finally i only shipped in the lower 48 as they say to drastically cut down on potential shipping costs.

Thanks a bunch!

Honestly nothing intensive so games like candy crush, bejeweled, search and find games, monopoly, games that they already understood, which is why i didnt put a GPU in because the 2200g is actually capable of playing games like these at 1080p with no problems. The hardest game to run in their case in minecraft, which they tell me they rarely play, and it runs on fast settings at a respectable 30 - 70 FPS ( Though they usually play creative super flat so its usually closer to 70 on average, )

You know its funny the monitor i donated them for some reason makes look rich to all their friends, despite its a hand me down from my main setup.

You're much better off buying a duplex

TFW you realize your market has almost no multi families and the ones that are around are in F tier neighborhoods and still dont cashflow.

But you are right.

Finally OT comes up with some interesting topics!

Btw im not a real estate expert and currently still renting, but after a few months of going to real estate meet ups and reading books/ watching YT videos i think i could at least help guide you in the right direction.

It isnt passive, not one bit and you wont get passive income in real estate until at least a few years in when you get a good contractor/building manager. First i'd focus on getting a house first before you do anything else, i'd recommend doing a 3.5% FHA fixed rate mortgage on a house that is at least 20% below the market. Fixer uppers are perfect for investors of any kind. Dont buy in bad neighborhoods unless you know the people and area well, cash flow is good but theres added risk, usually B and C tier neighborhoods are your best value for money. Buy locally first! Dont go into unfamiliar markets if you can't even master your own. Be nice to contractors and landlords as they can either elavate your profits and tank your bank account. Finally go to real estate meetups in your area instead of asking some rando on the internet with a waluigi avatar for advice.

House hacking could be a good idea, but i'd do a thorough scan of each tenant, put them on contracts and realize that the place you bought is no longer JUST yours.

Thats about as much advice i a rando on the internet can give honestly and accurately.

Mechanic work, building and fixing cars now a days is basically just taking a bunch of computers and hooking them up to each other. Although that was something i only did for a short while, i still found it interesting.

I wish working as a custom PC builder was an actual well-paying occupation. I like analyzing the stock market and computer hardware.

You could try to get into the PC flipping side job ( IE flip PCs and sell them on craigslist or ebay ) but its a very hard side job with very low margins. A good tip is to make the majority of your PC's filled to brim with RGB, those always sell the fastest and usually is the difference between profit and break even.

AMD is definitely over priced right now and the main reason why AMD grew by 130%+ in 2019 is that sweet sweet ryzen gravy train. Now you see the problem is that ryzen probably wont be continued after this year which is a very big risk to current AMD shareholders. Sure, EYPC is a thing and i guess they also have a GPU marketshare that hasn't broken 20% in the last 5 years but it isn't a long term sustainable business model. Let alone any potential market crashes AMD is a very cyclical company in what is one of the most cyclical sectors of the stock market.

But would you guys consider it a buy or sell based on the new predictions from analysts coming out?

Personally dont really care for these "analysts" predictions but i look for a good business model, at a discount with good future growth potential.

As for Nvidia and Intel,

Well Nvidia is a great long term stock to buy and is poised as great dividend growth stock in the future but it trades at a premium at the moment. Solid business model and a monopoly on the graphics card market, both consumer and enterprise.

Intel probably is the best bushiness model out of all 3. Sure its consumer sector CPU sales are down and it always concerns shareholders whenever a techtuber talks some much needed trash about intel. However its brand name alone still sells ( My current CPU is an intel ) and has most of its business outside of the CPU market. Inculding Robotics, AI , Smart Cities, 5G, Big data etc. Which generates intel a nice long term average return, something Nvidia cant even say. It also is currently at a discount, which is always good.

Anyways i have shares of all 3 but i think owning just one of these 3 will give you a good enough exposure of this sector. But then again im not a financial expert so do your own research!

Another stock i like ( and own ) currently is Tesla which has been on a climb recently! I think Tesla is finally getting the recognition it deserves from the "analysts" at "wallstreet". And unlike AMD i dont think Tesla is a ticking time bomb waiting to burst any day soon and i think it will be the next big tech $1000+ stock in the next few years. Cant wait for 2020 profits! This is one of my core positions and i am definitely longing the stock for many years to come.

Welcome to the world of E-Politics, this place is about as safe and tame as it gets outside of political echo chambers. Personally i ( and maybe you should ) always avoid overtly political threads, because is it really useful to spend real life time arguing with someone or some people when theres no consequences? Alot of the times on the internet people are alot more steadfast on their political views than they are in real life so you're probably not changing anyone's opinions. Generally not worth what little time you have on this beautiful world.

Coming from a person that has wasted too much of their life on political threads and discussions across hundreds of different forums it will accomplish you nothing. If you have to express your political views do so in real life, you'll actually have an impact on the world which is cool.

Thank you for the complement! I think the 2200g is still the best CPU to use for systems being used for casual audiences. My Grandparents are watching videos on youtube, at 1080P! Thats over triple the resolution of their last monitor, at only a tenth of the weight as well. That 2200g can do wonders for what was at the time around $90 ( now like $40 on the used market ) definitely my favorite CPU of all time for almost exclusively its price to performance at the time i got it.

Ironically games only takes up around 100GB as well because i really dont play modern games at all. With the rest of my 4TB space ( almost all hard drives btw ) either being used to archive other various things or some amount of free space.

SSD's are just a large time saver that im surprised they are still relatively cheap compared to HDD's.

I'd leave ASAP and if they threaten anything like a fee for something so frivolous like not doing a chore per their terms that weren't laid out on paper, just live in your car for a few days, not sure where you live but if you live in one of the big cities you could live at a homeless shelter for a short while if need be.

Well I am trying to avoid that burn out so I don't lose out on pay.

I get it.

Many years ago I did use energy drinks and they completely messed up my sleep schedule. Tired during the day and can't sleep at night making me more and more dependant on them. I haven't touched one in over 10 years. I find coffee does that to me too but not to the same effect and the teas I trink have 1/5th of the caffeine as coffee does so it is more of the right amount. Especially since I never put sugar in it.

Yep your body is already thanking you for not touching one of those cans of sugar also known as "energy drinks".

My morning workout is riding a bike to work, yes even in the winter even if we get dumped a couple feet of snow. In southern Ontario Canada lake effect snow is nothing new here.

Snow really does suck if you have to actually deal with it on a regular basis.

12 hours each monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, and sat. repeat.

That isn't too bad, you'd probably make alot more money and save up for a new ride!

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying a cheap department store fat bike for my main transportation and it has lasted 2 years but after maintaining the bike (full disassembly and rebuild) it is clear it was not made with my kind of use. It has the build quality for someone using it as a casual weekend ride bike or a garage decoration not for 20+ miles a day minimum every single day riding. The wheel hubs are wearing to the point I got another couple of months before they need to be replaced and they alone cost way more than the bike itself. I am saving up for a much higher quality fat bike that can withstand my kind of usage for long term use. I am also factoring costs of much stronger locks as well and I will NOT skimp on that. I basically need to work enough overtime for an extra 2 grand in a months worth of time which is why I picked such stupid hours.

Hey, working hard to deck out your bike, cant rag on that, just wondering if you're gonna use Cycling Builder dot com to build a such a bike or are you gonna buy one from a name brand bike manufacturer?

On a side note my boss did something to help encourage me on my overtime this morning before I got into work. She printed out a picture of the bike I was looking at with a message of encouragement and pinned it to my cubicle wall!

Thats nice of you're boss!

Believe it or not a bike is still FAR better than public transportation in my city for 2 reasons, it is actually much faster and I hate standing still outside waiting for a bus that comes once every 30 minutes or 60 minutes past 9pm or weekends.

I also despise public transport in all the cities i have been in.

Seems like you're going to do well, just keep the chin up and look foward to a future a nice bike you can take anywhere you want in any weather Southern Ontario has to throw at you.

Everything is a million miles apart

Thats the case for every state west of the Mississippi, in the cities its all just non stop urban sprawl, it amazes me that the LA area is so large in land area.

A comically-stereotypical amount of people drive trucks

Around here just about every guy in their 20s has a truck, many of which were bought at $30k+ . Trucks aren't bad but they are expensive to buy and maintain.

Texas quite honestly sounds alot like my homestate, we get the best tacos honestly compared to the other nearby states like California,Nevada or Utah. Southern Californias's taco scene has been so overly commercialized only ritzy rich people eat the grease traps that line the streets of LA. The whole "street taco" fad is a joke and is comparable to tacobell or del taco most of the time and you pay multiple times more money. New Mexico has some good tacos as well but New Mexico is kind of boring outside of mexican food and is like the Michigan of the southwest, nobody moves there unless they HAVE to. The rest of the region has mediocre tacos tbh, especially Utah, their taco scene is sad.

Coyotes are pretty scary if you live in an area where they like to roam, anyways its not uncommon for them to snack out of peoples trashcans at night.

Anyways im glad you mostly enjoyed your trip to Texas, nobody likes a bad trip to a place far away from home.
