That custom cable game tho.
Also, how hard is it to sleeve your own cables? DO you just follow a "this wire goes from here to there" chart and add sleeving?
Quick question: what exactly does the bracket thing under the GPU do?
I'll see how that goes ...
I know this post was forever ago, but could you tell me how to get the front panel off? I have the black and orange version(F2-O), and I can't figure out how to take off the front panel to install another fan.
Wouldn't 2x960s be better than a 1050ti?
A wireless keyboard or mouse probably won't work, but there's no harm in trying.
The Wi-Fi adapter should work fine in the OS, also, the BIOS doesn't have any reason to use Wi-Fi if I'm correct.
Your $600 total doesn't include the price of RAM. you might wanna fix that.
I'd say you could get an AC Wi-Fi card. If you're spending this much already, might as well get super fast wifi.
Also, with a GTX 1070. a 1080p 75hz monitor probably wont do it justice. you could try a higher refresh rate or resolution.
Your case looks awfully familiar... I have a the DIYPC F2-O and it is EXACTLY the same, except for the windows. Nice build, I was planning to go to Ryzen later this year.
On a side note, how hard/easy was it to get the overclock? What settings did you use?
Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I was planning on giving away my entire build except for the R9 290, and starting fresh. Basically everything but the GPU and the OS.
My friend has put it on ebay, still going for $300.
That has set me out of its price range, though.
Still, its incredible what deals you can find on there.
Im picking up an R9 290 (enough for my needs) for $120
Should I go with this build with an i3 and a 1050ti instead?
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
I say this as I will not be playing any CPU intensive games in the near future, and I will probably upgrade to an i5 in a year or two.
I already have a case and PSU, which is why I didn't include one in the list.
Also, I'm trying to keep it at $400, so if I get an i3 6100, then the GTX1060 is out of the question. Would it be worth it to sacrifice a GTX1060 for an i3-6100?
Also, I probably won't be playing anytghing similar to GTA V or the like, just non-open world type stuff.
I'll take $10 more at this point. I'll just change the vendor on my list. Thanks a lot!
Sorry about this but could you do NewEgg and Amazon only?
Otherwise the build is really good
Damn. That's pretty good. Plus I was hoping to go Green so I could use Shadowplay. Also could you try an alternative with a 5GHz wifi card? I think a G4400 will reduce the price enough.
As long as none of these are on sale currently and there is no mail in rebates, you just made my dream build!
Sorry I forgot to ad that I can't use Mir or sales for now because I'm just planning for a build in a few months time. :(
This is probably the config I will be building. Thanks a lot!!
I already have a HDD and case . So it should be good
It's the exact same
That's probably enough for a good wifi card which will probably be necessary.
Also if I scrounged up a 500GB HRD, how much more could you do?
Thanks. I wasn't expecting an RX470 to fit in $400 to be honest!
True, but I'm just looking for an idea of what I should be aiming to get.
That will be plenty. Just make sure it's from a reliable brand with good reviews.
Don't want to get my hopes up,
But the Hype Train is rolling out!
For the PC itself,
Will upgrading it void the warranty?
This is a big concern for me in case something goes wrong.
As their customer support is only for people who have already purchased their products I cant access it to find some answers.
By the way,
Would installing the additional parts VOID the warranty?
This is a pretty big worry for me personally as if when I install something and it stops working, what do I do then ?
Its running on lowest setting possible with fxaa.
still tops out at around 45fps on a good day
Can't wait to get off my laptop with its "i7"
Actually a dual core hyper threaded.
It's all right for normal stuff but integrated graphics can't run csgo above 1366x768 with >30fps.
I'm assuming it's a cheap no name and going based on that.
Better safe than sorry
Thanks a lot for your help.
So I will probably be buying:
The prebuilt above
The corsair cx450m
Cheapest 1050ti I can find.
If all works out, I'll probably have some pictures up as a build.
I'm planning $50 max but I'm currently looking at a corsair 450W semi modular for $46.so I think I'm good
So just a semi or fully modular regular power supply in case there's no space for the extra cables right? Around 400w should be good right?
a dvd drives a dvd drive. It's all right :)
Thanks a lot!
For the bloat ware, I'll just spend an hour deleting all of it.
It does take full size ATX power supplies, right?
Good job man!
I'm I the same boat too.
I've been saving up for around a year and a half myself.
Thanks. That's the best one I've seen yet.
You sure I could put a 1050ti in it or something similar?
I mean will I have to replace the PSU
For something a bit more beefy?
(I'm pretty sure it takes full size GPUs right?)
Plus it does have a PCIe slot?
(Haven't had time to check but I'm presuming that since the case has PCIe holes/covers it probably does)
I've already tried builidng a PC myself, but because a component was DOA, my parents forced me to return evertything and start from scratch. They just don't trust me enough to build a PC after last time, hence the prebuilt.
Can you tell what gen of i5 it is?
Also I is it SFF or is it full sized?
Because I can't find any slim 1050tis
Not really. If you want, you could get an AIO liquid cooler as long as you have the cash
Whaddya mean, ridicule? It's actually pretty good man

Thanks, but something came up. My friend gave me his i5 4440 after he upgraded and 16GB of RAM. But my budget has come down, a lot.
The new budget is $250 or so for a MoBo, PSU, and GPU.
Please see what you can do
True, I think I'll just get a PSU and MoBo and test it. If it works, I'll get the rest of the stuff later.
Case is DIYPC F2-O. Don't have a PSU though.
Things is, I have no idea whether or not it works, and I have no way of testing it. So it's a risk.
I'm planning on GTX 950 or something better o I can find it used.
NewEgg has R9 390X factory refurbished for $130 so maybe that.
With shipping, how much would you charge? I live in Texas.
