for this socked try to get atleast an pentium G4560 for cheap. the 4560 is 2 cores 4 threads. its a good pair with and rx560. Skip the i3 7gen unless u can find it cheap. the best option for u i think is i5 7400 has4cores but prop not cheap. if u cant find any cpu for this socket than yes go for another socket. it cost u more when u gonna buy a cpu and a mobo.

Its depends on what u need cuzz the 2400G has a vega 11 GPU its almost like 34% faster then the 2200G vega8. That means the 2400G can run most triple A games on low settings 1080p. while the 2200G can not. And not mention it that 2400G has 8 hyper threading.

CPU : 2 Cores 4 Threads vs 4 Cores 4 Threads Test in 7 Games

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX0WpbCajBg

so yea 4 cores are better. ( not super) but a g4560 for 40,- is a steal. :)

The vega 11 is only 9%less powerfull then gtx750ti. So it can handle some demanding games not max ofc.

Pentium g4560 is only 12% less then the 7100. That only for the half of the price. Or go for an Ryzen 1200/i3-8100 that has 4 real cores. instead dualcore that has hyperThreading.

Dont buy a new psu when u got more money. Just buy when its needed. It may never explode or Will died over the years of hard labore. And u dont need a graphic card if u dont gonna play games.

U paid 170 euro for a GT 1030? Even in europe That's a big rip off. For the same price u can get a GTX 1050ti that is like 110%(twice) better performance give or take.

U Just downgrade ur self with the gt710. The Intel hd630 is twice as strong as te 710. I hope u can refund it in time. And get atleast GT 1030/ rx550 if amd free sync (GTX 1050/ rx560 pref) OR save it and buy a SSD atleast 120GB

U could go instead 16ram to 8 And use the extra money for an i5. When its needed upgrade ur ram without replacing it. Now u need to get rid of old cpu when u gonna upgrade it.

But still its a nice build :)

oh and also the new i3-8100 is almost the same performance for only 130.- :(

Comment reply on JordenVD50's Completed Build: TT build

yes i did need an bios update. And yes i5 was kinda overkill but its for later when i need a new gpu so it wont bottleneck plus the price when i bought the i5 was only 40euro more then the 7100 so rather the 4 real cores then hyperthreat. But in the does't matter coffee lake is here and kabylake/skylake owners are kinda ****** if they bought the full price in the same year like me.

Gaming4life22 is right. g4560 is almost the half of the price for just 12% less performance of an i3-7100 It also comes with hyper threathing like the 6 and 7gen's-i3

The i3 7100 is just 12% better so not a major chance while this Pentium g4560 is almost the half of the price. they both have hyper threating so thats also not a good deal to chance it to an i3.
