PWM fan splitter
Not at all. It's alot cooler than I expected.
I just noticed that.
it varies by brand and models. mine is sitting at 3000mhz.
The WD Black was just 500gb and costed me $115, then a week later the corsair MP510 was 960gb for only $130, so for just an extra $15 and almost double the capacity, I decided to choose Corsair’s capacity and value.
I had a spare silverstone SFX, I couldn’t even mount the SSD tray, so I had the dummy 2.5 HDD screwed and mounted on one of the fan hole. It was difficult, I just had to get the Corsair SF600 due to the individually sleeved cables which happened to be on sale. It saved me from ordering custom cables from cablemod.
look closely at the 7th photo. it's inside the case, located in front.
Reason why I did alot of changes and removed the decepticon, cuz it was just a transformer logo at first.
Hey no problem, I’m glad my post was able to give you some ideas. Let me know if you need help with anything.
Just a simple double sided mounting tape
look up 3d skull emblem on ebay. It's around $5.99
I'd love to have 16tb of HDD for my 700+ games on steam
your build and mine are almost looks the same.
I'm upgrading to the Titan RTX once it comes out
when I started the list, it wasn't listed on PCpartpicker before I published my build. I had to custom list it.
this is an older build. check my newest one. i have 6 fans on my rad now
I'd really love to custom loop it, but I get tired of the same build and constantly change my PC case (once every 3 months) alot. I'm constantly changing how my PC looks
with 2 steam accounts combined.
The GPU is really good if you plan on overclocking it.
Between the 2, the MSI screen is slightly 2mm longer than the Dell Alienware, but the bezel on the alienware is slightly smaller than the MSI. They're about the same, but you can definitely adjust the alienware height from the desk while the MSI can't really be adjusted.
The Oculus Rift was indeed nice til I sold it recently @ eBay due to the fact that I barely touched it. Not a lot of games that I like and just waiting if they're gonna come out with a rift 2. I had a couple complaints about the rift tho, even tho just a short usage of 10 minutes, you start sweating due to lacking ventilation, and the foam doesn't help, it just sucks more sweat. Doesn't matter if the room temperature is cold.
the case came with 2 pre-installed 120mm rgb fans, which is located n the front of the case.
1070ti is overpowered for puzzle and mystery games lol. She doesn't play anything that's heavy on the GPU.
Yeah my temps are significantly better now. The PSU is exhausting hot air from the side and having the side fan in intake was also sucking the hot air that was being exhausted by the PSU. Also when you think about it, your GPU is being cooled by the fans from the bottom, and your side fan in intake, all the hot air have nowhere to escape but the back where your CPU AIR/AIO is located, so it's really problematic with thermals. Having the back used for intake and the side for exhaust is way better, just make sure you have a filter laying around for the back fan.
My intake were from the bottom and the side, and the outtake was the back but thermals were horrible, 'til i changed a couple things.
Cooling was amazing when I changed the air flow from the fan in back for intake towards the Radiator, and the side fan for outtake instead. I also forgot that the PSU outtake was located on the side and having the fan in intake on the side was also sucking the hot air back into the case, so having it in outtake was alot better.
So pretty much the bottom fans directed towards the GPU, the back fan for intake and make sure your have a filter for your fan, and lastly the side for outtake for best results.
I'll upload an updated pic, when I can to show my thermals.
the LED strip is indeed 4 pin. I've had the same issue. I purchased the XSPC RGB SATA Controller on amazon which i forgot to include. The case come's with a SATA to 4 pin RGB but it doesn't control the RGB lights. I just purchased a 3pin LED strip for cheap on ebay and another NZXT hue+ and see if I like it better. I'll add more photos soon
what motherboard do you have?
yeah a HDD cover would do, maybe a DIY with a heatgun, acrylic sheet and paint it.
Only thing I already have in hand were a drill, dremel, pc screws. The rest I had to buy, I learned the painting job just watching youtube. If you're interested, I can give you the youtube link.
Yes without any issues.
it is truly ugly, the additional cover cost $4.99 check my completed build
I cut it using a Dremel rotary tool and filed it afterwards, it looks clean tho and hardly noticeable. I was very hesitant to cut it in the beginning but I couldn't find a case that I really like with a vertical GPU mount capability.
As for temps, since I'm temporarily using a Corsair Hydro h100i v2 AIO. Idle at 28 degrees and full load at 78 degrees. House is super cold and I only have it overclocked to 5.1 so far.
I do, but not a lot of great games out there. Only problem with the oculus rift is that, after 30 minute of use, the padding around it is a sweat magnet.
