As far rumors in overclock.net goes....either it is called kabylake or skylake refresh.....all rumors till this point...salt factory required. But if I had to put my money on sth it would be skylake refresh cause look at the sales...4790k is still beating the skylake (maybe its the shortage in supply).....4790k fixed the heating issue that the 4700k had because of (suck)tel used tim instead of soldiering (4790k did not completely solve the problem but it helped)....If skylake-e comes with tim....SOMEONES GONAA DIEEE!!! SKY LAKE DELLIDED- Terrible TIM

Oh! thanks for the detailed answer...appreciate it....but one more q...what dremel cutter bit did you use....I tried with fiberglass reinforced bimetal cutter at the lowest rpm to not melt the acrylic but it keeps cracking(it doesn't break apart but cracks)??!!

I am loving the industrial look of the fans!! Have you considered losing the side panel and putting a metal mesh on it?

Comment reply on Redstriker's Completed Build: Mirror's Edge Catalyst Build

  • 1 point

Yeah...ok...

  1. How did you mount your acrylic panels (both the mid-plate and motherboard-cover-plate) so cleanly. I mean I see no screw marks anywhere!

  2. How about that motherboard mono-block? I saw some of them in performance-pcs from both ek and bitspower but I have seen some custom ones as well. How would one make/order a custom mono-block?

  3. And how did you cut a slot on the motherboard-cover-plate for the graphics card's pcie slot? Laser or sth more down to earth? I know you can order acrylic cut/engraved/etched/sized/(blah blah blah-ed) from online/lowe or even a photo framing shop.....but from the pic#11, I see that you have cut (or ordered a cut) to fit for the mono-block but I can't see a cut for the pcie express slot on which the gpu is sitting on....

......I know its a lot of questions but I would very happy if you could give me some pointers....
