Thanks my mans.
Likely to be featured my dude. Nice.
At a local retailer. All the other founders additions cards are the exact same. Why are you trying to buy MSI's version? I would just pick up which ever one is currently the cheapest.
Sounds like a jet. Will be posting an update to this build very soon.
lol thanks friend.
No prob lol. Cheers
But I have overclocked my CPU? I think I'll be holding off on upgrading motherboards.
Wasn't to much of a pain in the ***. I just made sure that the fans were positioned in a way that the cable was already close to a hole in the case. I used 3 fan splitters as well, so most of the cable mess is hidden in back.
It would be. Honestly I don't think there is a full inch of clearance with the H100iV2 at the front. Would have to have the H100i on the top. Good luck building.
I have a 460x and the main reason i didn't get the 570x is because of the glass back on the 570x. The 460x is a ***** to build in though do to it having very little clearance between the back of the mother tray and the back panel. Hope that helped.
What fan curve are you using to get the GPU idle temps at 20.0° C ? My 1080Ti Fe runs between 28° C - 30° C idle with a 1 to 1 fan curve. Is your card magic?
Looks nice. The FE runs pretty hot and loud so prepare yourself. I actually just put in a RM750 PSU yesterday. The 550 is fine if you don't plan on doing any serious overclocking and limit the amount of case fans you have. Also, hard drives can eat up wattage as well so I wouldn't have to many if you plan on staying with a 550 watt. I put in a new 3tb drive and a NVMe ssd yesterday and needed more watts as I was getting very close to 550. Good luck building. Cheers

Legs (x5): http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/10264302/#/30264301
I built it out of an ikea hardwood kitchen counter top and some legs ikea sells for one of there other desks. Cost around $220 for everything.
No complaints with it. Built well and does its job. Cheers
I wrote with in my description that I will be buying a high refresh rate 1440p monitor with in the coming weeks. Quite aware that this gpu is overkill for a 1080p monitor even at 144hz.
I will be buying a new monitor with in a week or two. I have my eye on a few but I'm leaning towards this http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-pg279q-rog-swift-27in-2b-119675.htm?promoid=1407
Where am I bottle-necking?
*6700k. I realize that I am out of the peak efficiency threshold which is normally between 40% and 65% of the PSU's wattage output, but I am not all that concerned about that.
How are you controlling the SP120 RGB fans on the H100i V2? I have a very similar setup and mine are just pinned to 1400 rpm because the are only 3 pin and not controllable through Corsair link 4. Sick build btw.
Dig the Name. Dig the build. Nice.
I don't see why that would be a problem. The C7 seems pretty low profile. I am unfamiliar with the performance of the C7 though. Good luck to yah in any event.
Why thanks you. Cheers.
Funny you say that because I have been looking at tossing in a 80mm exhaust fan. Agreed on the 540. While it would have allow me to be a bit more flexible in choosing my components, it would take up far to much desk real-estate. Thanks for input. Cheers.
