Would it be compatible with my build? Sorry for being persistent but I really know nothing about monitors. Even if i try to use Gsync on this, its not certified by nivida so would it work? It’s also VA but wouldn’t TN be better? I’m not sure so I’m asking a lot of questions sorry
Thanks for explaining but could you please please recommend me a monitor from Amazon.ca . I would prefer to hear others opinion than choose on my own because i know close to nothing about Monitors.
My budget is around $300-330. I might be able to go a bit higher if its worth it.
This is exactly what i have just learned so i cancelled my order of 27 inch monitor.
Im thinking of buying this
Would you happen to know if its good?
I cancelled my previous 27 inches order because i heard that 27 inch is not good with 1080p, it gets pixelized or shows dead pixels idk
Would this be as good as the ASUS i linked? I think it is also G-Sync compatible (correct me if im wrong)
But the MSI monitors are not certified by Nvidia though
Would still like more opinions if possible
The Asus is G-Sync though and I’m using a Nvidia GPU, I have heard that it works better but I’m not sure since this is the first time I’m building a pc. There are also other MSI monitors that cost 309-319. Two of them actually but they are also Freesync.
The one i found for G-Sync on amazon.ca is only the 27” not 24 though. Could not find 24 there
How about this then? https://www.amazon.ca/1080p-Gaming-LED-Lit-Monitor-VG278Q/dp/B074JLD4HZ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=10TTN0G28T87F&keywords=asus+1080p&qid=1559315350&s=gateway&sprefix=asus+1080p+%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-3
its a bit more expensive than the rest but it says G-SYNC too
is there a huge difference between using G-SYNC or not? i have a rtx 2060 gpu so would it also be fine to use a Freesync monitor thats not compatible with Nvidia?
I found that spreadsheet but the Nvidia website doesn't show that the MSI is compatible. i found the AOC from Nvidia website and the this XF240 is the only one i found, did not find one with an H.
This is the spreadsheet i found :
Just to be sure but whats the difference between G-sync and Freesync? Is there a huge difference if i dont use G-sync because my monitor is not compatible?
Thanks for the recommendation, i forgot to mention that i would like a 1080p instead.
the 2.4Ghz wifi is speed is around 30 while the 5Ghz is 60-70. Thanks for the recommendation! ill look into them now but could you please explain to me how to decide on which PCIE is compatible?
I have a wifi adapter too and it shows 30 mbps download on my phone using the adapter, 60 on laptop adapter and 80-90 with router alone somehow on laptop these are the results for the download mbps only from ookla
I normally dont have any problems with my wifi speed btw
Sorry but i dont know how to find out, would you happen to know a reliable website to figure it out?
I have not purchased the monitor and thanks for that recommendation ill check it now, as for the SSD, unfortunately i have already bought it, is there a huge difference in performance?
I have not bought the PSU yet as im wondering which to buy, would you recommend i buy the TXM then? It does not say certified though nor that i know what they mean by it. Would it be compatible for my build? I mean that as suitable PSU? Like 550 is enough or i should get more?
The only CXM i found on Amazon.ca (Were im going to buy it from) does not have 80 Plus bronze or gold on it but is for $79 while TXM 80Plus gold is $99. I dont even know what they mean by 80 Gold or bronze and certification but in term of performance for my build will the TXM be better?
This is the CXM https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-Semi-Modular-CX550M-Supply-CP-9020102-NA/dp/B01B72W0A2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=corsair+power+supply&qid=1558729168&s=gateway&sr=8-4
I’m going to buy from Amazon.ca and there is no CXM available only CX, so i thought id buy TXM. Would it performance be better? The link i sent shows the powersupply but it does not include certified, is there a difference?
Alright, but if I’m not wrong though the Optix does not have a DisplayPort right? It would still be better than the ACER?
How about this btw?
There are other MSI monitors that cost around $300, do they have much better performance than the OPTIX you recommended or I should stick with it?
Thanks, which out of these two would you recommend? And will it at least be considered a decent monitor or i should save up and buy a 1440p or a different (more expensive) one.
What kind of games are considered heavy games then that would require a different monitor? Just curious
Ill be playing games like Fortnite, Wow, Lol csgo and apex legends. I almost have all the required parts except the monitor which i havent decided which to buy. Would you recommend me the monitor i linked or i should get another one?
Well I’m buying from Amazon.ca since i have a balance there and STRIX is not available there. The ones available are EVGA, ZOTAC, MSI and GIGABYTES. i would like to buy MSI GAMING Z 6G but i dont know whats the difference honestly.
What do you mean by Audio? That you can’t connect audio to this one?
Won’t they be more expensive? I’m planning to use RTX 2060 as GPU so would they be a good pair too?
Are these deleted features important? Thanks though
Thanks! I don’t know much about monitors so what exactly is the difference between the monitors? Both are 1080p 1ms 144hz right?
Sorry i forgot to link it lol. My bad
I’ll look into these power supplies but what exactly is CXM? i have looked into corsair before but there are CXM, RMX, CX and TXM. What is the difference between them?
I could get 1TB crucial ssd if i remove the HDD, would that be better?
Oh alright, thanks! I decided on all the parts to use except for the GPU, I’m honestly not sure whether i should go 1660 TI or 2060. I’ll be using the same parts you listed though except for EVGA power supply since i heard that its quite good (Correct me if I’m wrong though).
Will 1660 TI be able to run 1080p 144hz smoothly with 2600x? And what is Fast-Sync?
Thanks! I’m about to order these parts. I’m changing the SSD to Samsung though but would you recommend Gigabyte RTX 2060 Windforce or MSI RTX 2060 Ventus OC. Both are 2 fans not 3 btw.
Alright, so AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
Rtx 2060 and 1080p 144hz are a good combination? I thought i needed 1440p to run rtx 2060 so was about to get GTX 1660 TI
Thanks for the detailed description and links! I could buy either of those but would it be better to go with RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 TI for these monitors? I am using AMD Ryzen 5 2600x CPU.
This is the build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/smxTQZ
The only thing I’m not sure of is the Monitor and GPU.
The games i want to run are Wow, Lol, fortnite and apex legends. I honestly dont know a thing about monitors so I don’t know what freestnc or Gsync is but as long as it is 1080p 144hz it would be compatible and fine to run these games?
About 24” Monitor if thats what you mean by size.
Which Rtx 2060 do you recommend? MSI? Gigabyte or EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC Ultra Gaming,
So I don’t need a USB or PCIe cable if i bu a motherboard that has a wifi on board? Thanks though!
Thanks again! I dont know how to figure out whether the case will fit the Motherboard so will this NZXT H500 mid fit the B450 Micro atx motherboard that i have? and i will still need one more fan after using this case right?
Would this build be able to run these kind of games? and by couple fans, doesn't the case include 1 or 2? do i need another 2? sorry if my questions are stupid but im new to this. I also heard that the stock coolers on Ryzen are good but do they get loud?
Thanks though and i appreciate the help!
