Oh yeah, there is a plastic T fitting that I hid behind the reservoir that goes to the drain valve.
Wanted to delid for the best possible results with overclocking.
The 45 and 90 i bought directly from the fluidgaming website.
The orange in the back is the LED's that come mounted to the underside of the motherboard.
Drain was made with a plastic ball valve from Grainger. The fluid i have since changed out to the fluid that comes with the kit.
Without slim fans up top they would pretty much touch the lid of the case, even with the slim fans there is low airflow out the top. If i located the reservoir differently you should of put the fans on the lower side of the radiator.
You need to look at the fluid gaming website
I had the delid tool from doing my wife’s 7700k and I’d like it to run as cool as possible in order to keep the fans quieter. The bright orange is from the Motherboard, it has a strip of LEDs on that bottom edge of it. The white coolant is from Thermaltake. Gonna run it for a short while and then check it to make sure it’s not gumming up.
The monitor was a carry over from before I built this PC. The monitor worked awesome with my RX470 with its Free Sync feature but now that I have a NVIDIA 1080 Ti I am going to look to replace it with either a higher refresh rate monitor or a G-Sync enabled monitor.
Thank you. I’m still in the process of tweaking and testing the overclocks of the CPU/GPU so I’ll post the info when I settle on my final stable values.
In the last picture you can see the drain system I came up with. I ordered a plastic 3/8 T-fitting and a plastic Ball Valve from Grainger. Had to use plastic as I couldn’t find any pieces that were aluminum that would be compatible with the EK Fluid Gaming kit.
Love the build! I'm in the process of building another just like it for myself.
For my wife I have the same case and the same H100i v2.
If you mount the radiator in the front you can put its fans on the inside of the case and then the GPU cover will just fit. I like the look of the GPU cover as it fills up some space and adds a nice pedestal to add accessories (Pop Vinyl Figure) to or whatever else floats your boat.
