Not at all. I barely notice it to be honest. This monitor is perfect, and apparently supports 3D, I have yet to try that...

I don't think they're being sold anymore. I'd recommend getting the 270x. It's the same card but faster RAM speeds for the same price as I got my 7870. And building a PC is such a good experience, I hope to see your build on here in the future, my friend!

I get around 40-60fps depending on how demanding the map is with everything cranked up to Ultra except for Anti-Aliasing which I bring to 4x.

Also, this summer I'll be getting my hands on a lot of money... So by the end of this year I'll have a way better system then what I have here.

Any recommendations on some sweet upgrades I should get? I'll be getting about $7500 (I'm only 15 years old)

Well, I bought it way before I built this PC, so that's why I didn't add it. It was originally for my friend's desktop for his birthday (He was getting sick of Windows XP) but he moved away.

RAM prices recently went through the roof, my original plan was 2x4 and that would've been about $50, but now just the single 1x4 is $50.

And why the 8320 over 8350?

I bought Windows 7 Home Premium

And yes I bought the single RAM stick because I couldn't quite fit in my budget.

The Black is meant for performance, it's really fast. The Blue is more for the smaller budget build

  1. No, the stock cooler comes with thermal paste installed
  2. You're spending a bit more than you need to on RAM
  3. I would get an 8350
  4. You probably want a 990fx MoBo to get all the juice from your 8-core CPU

:p Hope I could help! Happy building :)

How is that case holding up for you? And are the handles durable enough to hold them while all the parts are installed? I am considering buying it myself.

I wouldn't mind having your old build... It would still be a huge step up from a crappy 2004 laptop...
