Yea I have tried, not really sure how to navigate corsair link however, was unsucessful. Will take another look at it after i install new fans. I was considering sp120s as well.
Thanks man, I will look into that. I believe I put the power supply of the pump into the cpu_opt, and i didn't put anything in the cpu fan because there was only 1 slot (i guess that's where the splitter comes in). The fans themselves are plugged into the fan hub. So i guess I gotta take those 2 fans from the fan hub into the mobo itself. What are fnv2's?
Thank you :)
heh, I was too eager to turn it on. I will fix it once I get new fans, didn't want to have everything locked in yet.
thanks! looks like i need to research a bit about fan placement. I'll get all the drivers from my other computer I guess. Also how do i ground myself?
It would never go on sale :(
I understand the G2 choice but why 850w?
Didn't know, thanks! fixed.
No real reason, never experienced SSDs before but thought the space was not enough.
Got the cooler for 50$ so I figured might as well. Same reason for other choices as well, they were on sale whereas the 390 was not.
Awesome, do you have any recommendations on the other parts? Particularly power supply (750w for maybe sli in future) , case, and memory.
I've been thinking about it, but considering that I'm mostly going to play in 1080p, and not 1440p/4k, i didn't think it was worth it right now, and in the future if i were to get a 1440p monitor then i would buy a second gtx970 . Also, is it hard to return items from newegg?
Man, you make me want to get the 980ti so badly, but I can't justify spending ~700 on a single card right now, especially for my first build T_T. You're right for that price point, only like $5 more for better speeds on that ram. I decided not to go with 1440p right now since it's out of my budget and stick with the 144hz. I think I'm going to stick with the 970 and maybe SLI it later down the road. thanks :)
No worries, any benefits to going for the 2133 on ram? Also if i go for the 980ti I probably have to get a monitor that supports 1440p otherwise I believe its wasted potential? I probably would still have to get an OS as well. i think if i stretch my budget to 1500, the build could be more doable.
Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor. Mostly gaming on 1080p, may try 1440p sometimes. I think running games smoothly is the higher priority for me. ~ thank you :)
Thanks, I'll check out the other ones similar to mine :)
