Very cool idea. Looks like a neon side table, maybe lava lamp.

Is there any ventilation on the bottom? Sides? Or just top?

Very nice build, Funny you thought it necessary to term a $6k build as your primary. Nice dry humor there. I'm strangely bothered with the grating element on the rear exhaust tho. Let that ML shine!

Looks a bit saggy in the first pic without the cables attached tho. Not sure it's worthy of "primary rig" status, lol.

This needs more upvotes. The Platinum Chrome RAM and Marty McFly fan combo is nectar. Anyway, how annoying is it that the old Corsair white LED fans are so much more blue than the new ones and most other white LEDs?

Whoa, what a nice surprise. Thanks for the compliment.

I figure the 980 will hold out for a while as long as I don't change monitors, as it's 1080p g-sync. However, cough cough if and when I eventually go for something(s) with a bit more pixels as my primary screen, I'm going to have to upgrade.

I was thinking a case upgrade would be nice as well, but it seems frivolous. I can convince myself those ML fans are worth it, because, you know, magnets and all.

G- uses a chip in the monitor to do the job, while Free- (developed later) is software based and consequently cheaper.
