Sorry for the late reply - this is a decal that you stick on the front of the computer. You peel the back off, place it on the computer, then peel the front.
<3 Thanks a bunch! I’ve been through a lot but I’m much better now. :)
My friend is a bit more tech savvy, and is smart enough to not rip a GPU out when troubleshooting issues ... probably ...
Hey sorry for the late reply! The package does not have any specifications on whether or not they are made of PBT, so my assumption is that they are not. However, I have been using them for over two years now and can attest that they still look good and function as intended!
It's quite quiet, even under load!
74 degrees on load. All temps are listed on the left side below the parts list
A demon that slays hahaha
Thank you for the compliments! I would recommend waiting for Ryzen based on everything I've seen. If you can wait this long, what's another few weeks? Comparable performance for hundreds less is a steal in my book!
Based on when I was shopping, there are more parts available in black / yellow color schemes but that's just coming from me
Haha, go for it! Though I would also take the suggestions the other people have here, such as swapping the cooler for the Cryorig H7 or changing the processor to something beefier for more value
I heard a Mei Funko Pop figure is coming out, I will need it for low low temps
I'm sorry. Sorry sorrysorry
Ahahaha that would've been perfect thematically! Too bad I didn't know what that was until today.. it also looks hard to do for a first time builder like me.
I actually bought everything, nothing listed was owned before the build! Pretty impressive, especially since that price is after tax.
Most of the money saved came from a combination of scouring /r/buildapcsales as the parts I wanted came on sale, and cheaping out on everything else. The motherboard / CPU specifically were a combo deal from Microcenter. That store is also where I bought my graphics card, at an open box price.
Thanks for the advice! I'll do some experiments and see what I find. The cooler is all right, I'll probably replace it for a better one down the road.
Good sale at Best Buy + 25$ discount for using Visa checkout. Thank you!
Ha ha, thanks! I need more threads for video rendering , but I also don't know the benchmarks between the 6700 & 7600 when it comes to that. Thanks though!
Pretty quiet! I don't have an exact decibel reading. If you pay attention you can hear them, otherwise I'm not really listening to the sound haha
Ah, you're right. I avoided the K series because i didn't want to overclock, but 4.0GHz vs. 3.4GHz base clock speed is a pretty big difference. I'll pay more attention next time!
Thanks for the recommendation - I may get one later, if only for the cosmetic appeal!
Etsy is a great place to look. I got my Mei decal from GCGraphics: https://www.etsy.com/listing/474477263/mei-overwatch-decal-overwatch-mei-bumper
Just for your convenience, here are two Hanzo and Mercy decals from an Etsy seller, respectively (I haven't bought from them so I don't know their quality, but I'm sure they're good based on the customer ratings):
The best cancer ;)
Definitely not a coincidence!
I got the decal from GCGraphics at Etsy:
So that's how you got all those cables to breathe nicely. Thanks for the suggestion! I have plans to put a hard drive there in the future, so I probably won't remove it unless I have a good reason for it. Thanks though!
Oops wrong unit. Maybe one day we can reach the unnecessarily high refresh rate of 144Ghz. probably the same day we can replace our eyeballs to see the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
I wish I knew the C7 was an option, haha. Thanks for the recommendation; next time!
Hahaha, I picked it because it matched colors and was relatively affordable. Definitely going for the Cryorig C7 next time if I do a build like this again.
