I do have a deeper voice and I went with the AT4040, I'll have it with in a few days hopefully. Thanks for the advice!
I already have an audio interface with a good pre-amp, an xlr cable, boom stand and all of that. Im starting to lean more towards the C214 because it comes with a windscreen, the at4040 doesn't and it would be an additional cost. I probably should have stated in my original post that im coming from an RE320. I was able to use my friends C214 and started think a condenser would fit my needs better than a dynamic.
I have looked at that combo. Ive also looked at JDS labs Atom and Ol DAC which i'm kind of leaning towards.
I agree, Im more looking for others ideas on how they would setup something similar to mine or equipment that may be used so that I have more ideas on what may be more ideal a worthy investment if I decide so.
Nothing at all, just wanted to try to go around them for higher clock speeds at a lower price basically. Ended up going with one just because of complications with AMD not validating ECC on there motherboards
Yeah, any motherboards support ECC. I'm trying to go around the typically xeon build
The Assus you linked me is exactly what im looking at getting haha
Thanks for the reply. That is a nice monitor but it is only 60hz unfortunately
I agree, IPS normally adds a decent amount to cost. I've looked into Asus alot and there are a lot of options from them.
Yeah I have a 1080ti. IPS is definetly but the cost associated with it can be steep
Ill update the form but 2560. Thanks for the reminder
Yeah thats what ive heard. I bought the AD900x and hopefully I love them.
Thanks for the recommendation. This is my fault for not clarifing this but im looking for an open back, no attached mic, just headphones. Thanks though!
Yes I am aware of that...... Like I said, I am just asking to see what is out there
The build looks great. Hows the EVGA cooler? I've been looking into it. Also, where did you plug the Halo rgb connectors into? I cant get mine to work anywhere.
How did you get the Halo fans RGB to work or where did you plug them in? I just got the case and no matter how or where I plus them in the RGB wont work. The power button does, but the fans dont. Thanks. Thats a very clean build btw!
That is what I was thinking but I was unsure if there was something else I wasnt thinking of. Thanks
I would get the 8700k, with hyperthreading you are looking at 6 core and 12 threads. Or even AMD's new Ryzen CPUs, both are good for your case. Im not sure if this is still a think with Asus board and the 8700/k but I know they used to run very hot because of software Asus enabled in the bios I believe. Again im not sure if that is still something that happens but it used to. Unless you are playing games or something on both monitors at the same time, 144hz for a second monitor is a waste of money imo. 1 144hz monitor as your main monitor will get the job done. Looks good though.
Phanteks makes very nice cases for the cost, compared to other companies that will charge around $150 for basically the same. Glad you liked the case!
The Entho Pro M. I am personally looking at getting the Pro M SE very soon. It has great air flow, TG, a power supply shroud, and more then enough room for future upgrades/water cooling.
After taking what you said about not needing as much power, i've looked into lower wattages. I think i've decided on G3 750. It cost $5 more then the 650 watt and will be plenty to power my system. Thanks again.
I agree, to much tg or RBG is not necessary. The only other case I was looking at was the H500p Mesh but it cost alot more. Thanks for the input!
Thanks, I will look into power supplies with a lower wattage. I do not have any plans of upgrading serious hardware any time soon.
Thanks for the response. I used to run SLI and an overclocked cpu so I got a biggger power supply, but now since I dont need to overclock the 8700k and im using a single GPU I dont need as much. I have no plans to upgrade as this runs everything perfectly fine and I dont see its performance decreasing any time soon.
Thanks, the G3 just dropped to $109 so im probably going to pick that up.
Personally I prefer the feel of the Razer DeathAdder Elite. It has a great optical sensor and is just a great overall mouse.
Yeah i've heard that about the 8700k. You said the aio only perform better when operating louder. If so, wouldnt 3 fans(at a lower rpm) be able to cool the same if not better then 2 fans? That is just a thought of mine so I could be completly wrong by saying that?
Thats what I was thinking, just wanted to check with others about it. Thanks!
That it definetly is. Personally has to much of a "gaming" look for me but thanks for bringing my attention to it!
Thanks for letting me know that, I was unaware of it.
I was just looking at that one and the SE one as well. Very nice cases without a huge price. Thanks!
Thanks I'll take a look at it!
I have looked at that case alot, the price is a little steep and that is really the only reason I have jumped on one yet
Now that youve mentioned everything about ryzen, I did alittle more reasearch into it and cant decide. Ryzen is alittle cheaper and doesnt lose as much but Intel has better gaming performance. Its hard to decide.
Ok, so would you say to go with Ryzen now or wait till Zen+?
Fornite, Overwatch,CS, PUBG. I dont really have a single game. That may make it harder for me to pick a cpu but those are some games I would plan on streaming.
I will take a look into Zen+. I do have a 144hz monitor. Thats one of the reasons I was leaning towards the 8700k, It has better performance in overall games.
Yeah thats why I am leaning towards to 8700k. I was just unsure how ryzen paried up to it.
I already have 16 gb of ram and I prefer to stay away from AMD. Every since I got Intel, I prefer it. Unless ryzen is really that good, which I am currently unaware of.
Thats what I was thinking. I do have a 1080ti so I was looking for something to pair well with that. Probably should have said that in the description.
I have not set a budget yet because I wanted to know what cpu's would work best for it. Main use's are gaming and watching streams at the same time. I have considered trying streaming my self but I have not done it yet. I do alot on chrome with alot of tabs open at once.
xD, that is one way to do it. Well thank you for the incite. Have a good day!
Thanks for the response. After posting this I started to think about it and I realized I had twitch open aswell. Im assuming the 100% cpu usage is fine, even considering that I have it overclocked? Thank you
EVGA is the one I am currently looking towards if I go with water cooling. It is much cheaper then MSI.
I can only find that card for around $1000. Did you find it for a cheaper price?
Yeah I agree, the black and red is to over used. It's why I liked the armor. Thank you for the help!
Thanks for the response. Which card did you see that AD for?
I dont really have a certain time to upgrade, I just want to make the upgrade worth it. I do agree that since I only have 1080p some cards may be overkill. Thanks for telling me about Volta, I will have to look into that.
I have the Asus VG24QE monitor (1080p). The games that I currently play most(Fortnite,Overwatch,PUBG), I get anywhere from 80- 130 FPS. The main thing for me is moving away from sli and towards a single card that can perform just as well or alittle better.
Thanks for the response!
