That is the LED light kit that came with the controller from NZXT. Got it at amazon
no clearance issues, they are spread enough apart to not cause problems on this case
since the mobo's heatsinks aren't very tall then yes, the fans are offset to the side to give you the space
Thanks! Always glad to meet a fellow fan. I got the decal on Amazon
might have been just me but downgrading drivers fixed it.. but it was a real bummer. Plus most VR games don't support crossfire, or at least the ones I have tested so far don't
Gave me some issues with the newest driver update, I had to disable Crossfire to prevent my PC from locking up. Overall, I am not pleased
hahaha that's great
Depends on the game.... I'm getting 110+ in Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of Mordor and The Division. Other games don't support it and I still get 70ish FPS @ 2560x1080
Glad you like it :)
yeah, I definitely recommend. it is very well designed and all the cable management features are top notch!
hahaha dude... nice mousepad. I wish I could sport one like that with a straight face :)
so far so good, I haven't seen any issues yet. It stays relatively quiet and my cards aren't throttling anymore so I guess the PS is doing it's job
yeah that wouldn't run VR lol
You can call me Aniki :)
Thanks! yeah it's my favorite anime ever :) For some reason I'm really drawn to it's cheesy hypermasculinity.
it's all about the cable management... good luck :)
hey what can I say... I like the aesthetics and building in it was a breeze
haha well in hindsight it kind of worked out that way but I wouldn't have gone this route if I didn't already have the previous one but yeah, no complaints :)
I also always wanted to try crossfire
ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA
yeah but then I won't have the pretty Aer fans to look at in the front. GPUs stay cool now and so does the CPU so it's not like I'm hurting for the few degrees difference it will make.
it's not arguing when you don't have a winning chance... that borders on trolling
i foolishly tried to screw the top cover down and cracked it so I just leave it on top without tightening that bolt that's close to the video card in the back
jaja pura vida hermano!
I got my first little taste of coil whine in the menus loading Max Payne 3 but it wasn't loud and it only lasts a second while the main menu is loading
Technically, it doesn't fit :) It pushes the window up a little bit. I'm thinking of switching to a Corsair 350D because of that
good luck, there aren't many temp gains to be made anyway. I mostly did it because I can turn the fans down really low and still have enough cooling to game. this keeps my pc as silent as possible
I am doing push pull with the rad. I had to bend them with my hand. I had to put a little pressure to get the hoses to bend but I didn't think it was extreme. what I ended up doing was putting the h105 first and the top fans last.
Nice build. I love that case :)
I left it on there. The heatpipe doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to melt the plastic on the window. The highest the GPU core has gotten is like 54C without OC and the heatpipe hasn't gotten terribly hot after a long gaming session. I'm not worried about the window, if not, I'll try to do some mod to it or just switch cases to a 350D but I like the Air240 so I'm going to stick with it. :)
no coil whine. the card is quiet and stays cool while gaming
Thanks, it was tough in places. There are tight clearances but it worked out in the end. Temps are really low. Now I have to figure out this hackintosh deal :S
It kinda does. Please see the pictures and you can see the small crease where the side panel doesn't close all the way.
Well my connection is 3 Megs. I am getting about 1Meg download speed on steam
so far so good. full signal about 13 feet away through 2 concrete walls
none yet. I haven't overclocked yet though and I've only tried Shadow of Mordor so far. I ran the benchmark with VSYNC off and I didn't get any coil whine
I already have the case and I've ordered all of the parts and they are on their way :)
I will be adding a GPU in December so i leave that choice to you but it can at least get you started
The parts in the build don't match the parts in the pic. -1
Dope man, I'm pretty much copying you except in a blackcase and a few different part choices but I decided on that mobo only for the sole reason that you were able to make it work and this is my first hackintosh ever.
That looks great, will the Vengeance k70 not work in OSX?
Vivan los ticos!
shoulda went h97 if you aren't going to overclock
Cool build but you put the wrong type of Corsair fan on your radiator :(
+1 I want to run this same combination of case and mobo. I can't see it clearly in your last shot but I was wondering if it's possible to leave just the bottom hdd cage in to still use 3.5 inch drives for storage with a card 287mm long.
Very nice btw
that's abuse. wtf. If you want to game, do it. Girls that do things like that are ****** up. I understand if it was a heroine habit but it's just a harmless video game.
Your build is awesome, but the blue and yellow combination on that case is hideous
No it's not. That's a top of the line PSU. You can skimp on quality wherever you want but don't look down on the OP because he knows quality and wants quality.
