Nice build! Love the case. Isn't there a slight bottleneck with the 2080ti and the ryzen 5 3600
ahh i see. There is a stock cooler though-I just bought one the other day for a build. Whatever. he could've swapped it out and used the money on a rtx 2060
Nice build, cable management is amazing actually. Are you overclocking that ryzen 5 1600 at all? If not, the Kraken X62 may be overkill as the stock cooler is more than adequate for handling stock speeds and temps.
why didn't you just get a 2060 for 40$ more?
Nice build! Almost thought you didn’t have a graphics card but then I saw it. Great budget build!
Ahh if you like the light facing down then there’s no point but it would look better than out in the open in the before picture
Nice build! Is there room for the led strip parallel to the psu shroud? If so, you should consider putting it there, it gives a nice natural glow. +1 for going Ryzen. Good choice overclocking ram-ryzen FEEDS on high speed ram.
Nice build. With an NZXT watercooler like that you should try overclocking to 3.9-4.0 ghz+. Otherwise you really just spent 140 bucks on something that wouldn't really contribute to performance anyway. The stock cooler would be perfectly adequate for running stock speeds, even on full load.
Yeah it is a good combo. The main reason I got it is because I snagged a ryzen 5 1600 for 80 bucks, and for a 6 core chip at 80 bucks, it was a steal!
Finally! First build I've seen on this site with a Ryzen 5 1600/RTX 2060 combo! I'm planning on building a pc with that combo too. Any bottlenecks or anything, cuz didn't think there would be any but you never know, especially with older chips. Also, does that 520 watt power supply work out for you too? Didn't think that a 2060 could run on just 520 watts. Good build though.
Nice build! What rgb header (5v, 12v) and pins did the included case rgb strip use? Nice choice on the keyboard btw.
Hey nice build. I have one question: Did you overclock? If you did, how did it work out for you because I saw some stuff about the mobo you have not having the greatest overclocking ability, but I don't know exactly what they're basing that off on. I am probably going to buy that mobo so I was wondering if it's great for overclocking because I am getting a Ryzen 5 1600 and want to overclock it to 4.0 ghz.
Nice build! Only thing is that your graphics card may not be able to handle ALL games...especially with that 3 gb of gddr5 video memory. At the price range you went for, you would probably be better off with a Radeon card; they have better performance in the price range of your GPU. You left a lot of room on your PSU, so you might be able to pull off an upgrade to a 2060, especially if you are aiming at a 1080p instead of a 4k monitor. The 2060 is probably the best at 1080p, as it is on the threshold of the 1080-4k gaming mark, and also it is a relatively new graphics card that can take advantage of the soon-to-be widespread use of ray tracing in games. Overall, very nice build, I love the color of the fan!
Hey this build guide is a lot like my build, but I have a ryzen 5 1600 and a watercooler instead. This may be a dumb question, but even then, would the psu wattage be enough? If so, would it be ok for minor future upgrades? Overclocking?
Nice build +1 for RGBS and keyboard. Where'd ya get your keyboard from?
Is the graphics card you have in the part list in the build pictures? Didn't know the card had RGBS
alright thanks so much then. was really scared for a second haha
did you have to purchase amd versions of your ram
All right thanks a lot
Very nice build. I really love the rgb fans and the ram. Which ones do you prefer more: the Corsair LL120s or the thermaltake Riing. Same amount of fans, but a 40 dollar difference. I was wondering based on value, performance, and looks.
Hey i see you have the same mobo that I do, and the ram as well. Im getting g skill trident z rgb 3200 and I've heard about problems where the g skill aura software isnt compatible with other mobos than asus. Do you experience any problems with the lighting/rgb sync or any of that?
Hi, great build. Love the RGBS. Also, is there space for a 120mm fan in the front, because I put in a filter for the phanteks eclipse p400 tempered glass and the cpu cooler that I am getting and yours is the only one that fits the filter. I was going to take out the pre-installed fans and put in 4 new ones and I wanted to make sure if there is space for a 120mm fan with the radiator up front.
Great build. Does the 2070 you chose have any leds/rgbs on it? Planning to get it for my first build.
great build the case makes it look old though
how many fans keep it cool?
just wondering in case i need them
is the one case fan enough?
whats the wattage on your pc
does the fan mount okay b/c i have heard problems with certain cooler master fans mounting on the b350 mobos
No the amd is easy to overclock
1600x overclocks to 4.1 ghz easily
it is 200 or 160 dollars respectively for the ryzens
intel 8700k is probably most common for gaming good cpu too or if for lower level gaming get a ryzen 5 1600x or 1600
you dont really need 16 gigs of ram only for future proofing
honestly ryzen makes better lower end cpus like the 1600 and the 1600X
