Good Q and good answers provided. What's up w/ the variation in pricing for this CPU? If you filter out the 3 cards from ASUS, you will see they vary widely in price ($369 for TUF, $459 and $535). All 3 have 4 or 5 star rating.

Very nice build w/ modern parts and write-up. Congratulations!

Some experts in this field believe a 120mm AIO is not sufficient to OC an 8 core CPU. It appears your AIO is working fine. Regardless, I suggest you upgrade to a 280 or 360 AOI next Black Friday sale and keep the speed down to 4.0 or 4.1 GHz to avoid burning out the motor before then.

Thumbs up from me. Enjoy!

A very nice & cool 12 core build w/ fast components. Well done

I'm just curious why you put it in such a large case w/ the right third of it blocked of. Please explain that.

My parents bought one of those GW 2000 PCs, the mid-tier, $2,000 version and it lasted them 10 years. Thanks for the memories.

16 cores in the PC. Awesome!

You could have squeeze another 5%-10% performance by going w/ the faster memory as indicated in the prior comment. This should be fine for 4K video editing for some time.

Thumbs up from me. Enjoy!

P.S. Please peel the plastic of the case.

Nice gaming build for the $. Good work! I don't believe ram can exceed 3200 MHz on the MB. Hence, I would have spent less on slower RAM and more on the PSU. I also would have begged him to spend $90 more on the TUF 570 MB instead. Regardless, thumbs up from me. Enjoy!

This blows my mind

Welcome back to the League of Builders. We missed you!"

I spend about 1 hour per day reviewing builds on this site and I almost came to tears when I saw the parts list, write-up and pics. It's almost perfect IMO.

I would give it an solid A if it weren't for the lack of PCI4 support on the GPU. WTF? Isn't that one of the main reasons for purchasing a 5700XT?

Regardless, I'm sure you will have years of enjoyment putting this machine thru the paces.

Please tell us what it's used for so we can properly worship it.

Woah! I'm super jealous about the CPU, GPU & MB!

I would have gone for 3600 MHz memory and PCI4 storage to help feed the beast faster.

I like vertical GPU mounts, but yours looks like a piece of sheet metal with 3 donuts cut out of it. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Thumbs up for the beast and thanks for posting!

Very nice build & components. Double the cores you need for gaming, but they will come in handy when you start editing video. This should have no problem editing 4K video w/ most editing apps. Thumbs up from me. I'm guessing it will run hot under full load. I doubt you will be pushing full load often so it should be fine. Enjoy!

Very nice mid-tier gaming build. Congratulations

Your monitor lists for about $300 (incl. tax) at Amazon, making this a $1,000 build, plus whatever you spent on the OS.

Regardless, I believe you allocated these funds well, spending about half of the build on the GPU and monitor.

Thumbs up from me. Enjoy!
