That mini itx motherboard kinda ruined it because of the positioning of the USB 3 header. On the other note should have gone to Corsair RMi/RMx or Evga G2(these have reasonable price and formidable). Anyways that's a really VR capable build +1 I'm guessing something went wrong with the case or the motherboard stock availability/delivery etc.

That Phat Arse Monster! That's a size of 2 H440 case and that PC case has wheels. +1 Everythings great man, you went for a 4k build and got the i7 5930k, guessing you would be going SLI with another gtx 980 ti?

Personally try waiting for polaris/pascal since by then maybe there's a card that performs like a gtx 970 in a cheaper price, gtx 970 prices will probably go down a bit when that happens so a win-win scenario for us enthusiast

+1 Seriously atm I'm planning to get one EVGA gtx 970 hybrid since I don't want to move away from 1080p and I could buy a new monitor(144hz 24" g-sync) OR i could just buy 1 hybrid gtx 980 ti. Dilemma right there. What made you go with "980 ti and 1440p"(money allowed you?)

+1 For someone who build a computer for the first time it's nice to see it's working. I do suggest watching some youtube video on how to do cable management. You can re-route the cables to the other side of the case this will give you a better air flow. Latest PCPP Build from 57:00 they start installing the PSU, watch how they route each cable

+1 Could have gone a bit more and got a gtx 950! I would say that gtx 950 is an entry card. FPS Chart with Gtx 950 This is due to the fact that gtx 750 ti doesnt support sli which means future upgrade means a completely new card. How ever just keep the card as long as your happy with it and jump straight to gtx 970(after 2 years maybe). Benchmarks of Gtx 750 ti vs Gtx 950 vs Gtx 970 starts at 0:38

PCPP has a great community sorry for the bad experience. I'm sure if you had a lock processor such as i7 6700 non k, less criticism would have happen. Aesthetic wise liquid cooler adds a nice look in your pc but since you have a h110 which won't allow you to overclock therefore liquid cooler was a questionable choice. Your PSu is not bad but could have gotten a better one(evga g2 or corsair rmx/rmi), not sure why they were grilling you. Anyways +1 I'm sure it's working and will last you more than 4-5years

Comment reply on elkabongtssss's Completed Build: Vantablack Build (Skylake)

+1 great choices since it doesn't limit you from upgrading. An i5 6500 or i7 6700 in the future, another 8gb ram, a 2tb hdd maybe(why not), 2-3 years from now maybe a new GPU. Just make sure when upgrading the gpu that the total watts will be less than 520W or you should upgrade the PSU. Over all everything's great

+1, Seriously atm I'm planning to get one of those hybrid. Yeap just one since they cost a lot but I'm having second thought since I don't want to move away from 1080p and I could buy a new monitor(144hz 24" g-sync) and a hybrid gtx 970 for the price of that 1 hybrid gtx 980 ti. Dilemma right there right? I'm just a uni student studying enigeering.

ahh alrght. Here in Australia the only way to get that motherboard is buying from ebay. H440 razer edition has pretty cool green LEDs.(front of case, psu shroud, back i/o sheild, bottom of the case. "decided to spend the extra $30 elsewhere" you mean the H440 Matte Black costed $30 more than the razer edition? no way, maybe there in UK is more expensive but here in Aus in all the shops that I looked at H440 razer is more expensive by AUD $30
