That mini itx motherboard kinda ruined it because of the positioning of the USB 3 header. On the other note should have gone to Corsair RMi/RMx or Evga G2(these have reasonable price and formidable). Anyways that's a really VR capable build +1
I'm guessing something went wrong with the case or the motherboard stock availability/delivery etc.
Just making sure, I had to ask obligatory
+1 you got me here because of the first picture, nice to see someone who likes razer as well!
Picture #21 has the HX1200i brother
That Black/white/yellow/purple theme +1 In coming Featured build, Goodluck!
thanks! I'm just a student who sometimes have a casual job. This cannot to be compared to your $$$ build :D
That would be great, to have them in a separate loop once you upgrade for the 2nd gtx 980 ti. That case clearly has the room for it!
That Phat Arse Monster! That's a size of 2 H440 case and that PC case has wheels. +1 Everythings great man, you went for a 4k build and got the i7 5930k, guessing you would be going SLI with another gtx 980 ti?
+1 Plain simple and straight to the point build
Is it just from the picture or the installed Cryorig h7 cpu cooler aren't straight? anyways +1 Nice build
+1 Cable sleeves clearly makes a difference! That GPU for a Gtx 750 ti looks a beefier card thanks to EVGA. The color scheme is cleanly done.
This budget Pc of yours will be a dream Pc for some of us when you upgrade to "Asus predator and 980ti" +1
Nice budget gaming pc with a 23" monitor +1
These spare parts isn't actually bad at all, add a 120gb ssd and can be gifted to a family or a friend. +1
Farm Fresh Produce +1
According to this website you are correct 2xPCI-ExpressX16 Gen 3.0 slot, my mistake. It does make a difference in appearance.
where are you from? if from australia i can help
Personally try waiting for polaris/pascal since by then maybe there's a card that performs like a gtx 970 in a cheaper price, gtx 970 prices will probably go down a bit when that happens so a win-win scenario for us enthusiast
+1 Seriously atm I'm planning to get one EVGA gtx 970 hybrid since I don't want to move away from 1080p and I could buy a new monitor(144hz 24" g-sync) OR i could just buy 1 hybrid gtx 980 ti. Dilemma right there. What made you go with "980 ti and 1440p"(money allowed you?)
gazereths thanks man! 1/5 of my total Comment karma came from here :D
+1 For someone who build a computer for the first time it's nice to see it's working. I do suggest watching some youtube video on how to do cable management. You can re-route the cables to the other side of the case this will give you a better air flow. Latest PCPP Build from 57:00 they start installing the PSU, watch how they route each cable
+1 for the name, it does look like a Toaster!
+1 Nice to see someone who has a DXracer chair aswell! I also got a gtx 760(only 2gb) and when overclocked it can be compared to a gtx 950/960. If you can get a gtx 760 4gb for a cheap price go for it! from some benchmarks gtx 760 SLI beats gtx 980(not ti) xD
+1 great description! I was amaze on how you tried almost all types of gtx 980 ti damn
+1 for the sleeping dog at the last pic!
+1 haha made me laugh when he asked for your mmr :D what fps do you get with the gtx 960 4gb?
Congrats on being featured! The clean cable management paid off :D
+1 finished your novel
+1 is there's anything you would change if you could do over? And from your experience do you reckon the blower type gpu would better suit that case? Corsair also released a new PSU for mini itx case 'corsair SF'
+1 what's the youtube link?
+1 "a bit of a medusa" haha
+1 that motherboard has 12 usb at the rear, probably one of the best for that socket?
+1 IF the GPU is still on the lower PCI-e shown in the picture, please move it to the top slot to run it's full capacity. ATM it is it's only at x8, moving it to the top slot will run it at x16
+1 you have great parts, it would be nice to see the completed build!
+1 Gtx 950 is a great entry card
+1 you can remove some of the unused HDD bays for better airflow
+1 maybe more pictures and a proper description of the choices you made
+1 I love how you tried to hide one of the GPU connectors :D
+1 that cable management! Clean AF
great, it's nice to have a plan of upgrades. best of luck!
no worries man, trust me you're doing fine.
+1 this black/white/red theme looks great!
+1 once again dayum, I wish I had a best friend like you!
+1 what a great PC, got here since i wanted to see if a man chooses to get gtx 950 SLI and man they look great!
+1 Could have gone a bit more and got a gtx 950! I would say that gtx 950 is an entry card. FPS Chart with Gtx 950 This is due to the fact that gtx 750 ti doesnt support sli which means future upgrade means a completely new card. How ever just keep the card as long as your happy with it and jump straight to gtx 970(after 2 years maybe). Benchmarks of Gtx 750 ti vs Gtx 950 vs Gtx 970 starts at 0:38
PCPP has a great community sorry for the bad experience. I'm sure if you had a lock processor such as i7 6700 non k, less criticism would have happen. Aesthetic wise liquid cooler adds a nice look in your pc but since you have a h110 which won't allow you to overclock therefore liquid cooler was a questionable choice. Your PSu is not bad but could have gotten a better one(evga g2 or corsair rmx/rmi), not sure why they were grilling you. Anyways +1 I'm sure it's working and will last you more than 4-5years
+1 great choices since it doesn't limit you from upgrading. An i5 6500 or i7 6700 in the future, another 8gb ram, a 2tb hdd maybe(why not), 2-3 years from now maybe a new GPU. Just make sure when upgrading the gpu that the total watts will be less than 520W or you should upgrade the PSU. Over all everything's great
+1, Seriously atm I'm planning to get one of those hybrid. Yeap just one since they cost a lot but I'm having second thought since I don't want to move away from 1080p and I could buy a new monitor(144hz 24" g-sync) and a hybrid gtx 970 for the price of that 1 hybrid gtx 980 ti. Dilemma right there right? I'm just a uni student studying enigeering.
ahh alrght. Here in Australia the only way to get that motherboard is buying from ebay. H440 razer edition has pretty cool green LEDs.(front of case, psu shroud, back i/o sheild, bottom of the case. "decided to spend the extra $30 elsewhere" you mean the H440 Matte Black costed $30 more than the razer edition? no way, maybe there in UK is more expensive but here in Aus in all the shops that I looked at H440 razer is more expensive by AUD $30
it would be nice if you flip the PSU so the fan would be take the air from the bottom of the case. Anyway +1
