Nope, no bios update was needed for my mobo since it was compatible with my CPU.
yeah, but I don't have it plopped in my PC because the MOBO comes with it's own audio, might install it if something happens to the audio, also after a case upgrade.
900 series is a rebrand of 750TI
Remove that laptop MOBO and put it inside your desktop.
When Nvidia does a rebrand it's ok.
R9 390 no question but the GTX 970 performs well with lower resolutions
that's an amazing deal
This card's link is the canadian version so it's bound to be expensive compared to the U.S counterpart
But the mail in rebate isn't working so it comes off as expensive with also the delivery
I was thinking of going with this actually http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs750amaab1us is this any good?
So it won't be good?
Thanks for that information
Ok thanks for the feedback
So who here has experience with it and had it instead of just senseless advertising
Do you have it and how does it work?
Then it should fit in the dimensions of the case
What if OP is using a Mid Tower case and big gpus don't fit in it
Sapphire because it's lenght is shorter compared to the MSI version and it would fit in the case
Get an FX 8350 if you want to and I would say get the R9 280 it's going so cheap everywhere
I complained to Nvidia and all they did is bring their CEO on the phone to calm me down with lies
It's strong enough for OP not paying for a GPU basically for a budget plus it would be good for light gaming
Streaming would be fine with the APU though
well for 1080p gaming yes but 4k he will need a R9 Fury card or a Titan X slied
Get this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad787kxdjcbox instead a better choice if you ask me
There are rumors circulating that it will release next tuesday or the 30th to be exact so here I am waiting for it to come out
Wait for the R9 380X it will have Tonga XT architecture so be patient it is confirmed to be 3gb/6gb of vram and will be the gap between the 960/380 and 970/290/390/390X
Your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU
380X wasn't released and 380 is the same price as 290 here in Canada
you only install steam to play games
ok I was thinking for waiting for 380x when it releases on 30th of june or around
you could but for the same price you could get the 390
I know that pretty clear that 970 is a perfect substitue replacement to the 770 in terms of features power and not to mention it's efficency until a new series comes out
More cuda doesn't mean it will be better cuda and stream proccessors are there but even if it has more cuda it might not perform well
but to get a 4gb card at that price it might be too expensive might as well get an r9 290x instead
It's all a mind game between Consumer and producer you might snag one of the best cards with innovative tech on it
yes it can run that game maybe high or medium
I wouldn't say powerful but efficient and cheap equevelent yes it is
280 becauuse it's really new
get the 970 it is basically the same as 980 but lower priced
wait for 980ti or the pascal GPUs coming from Nvidia
FX 8320 seems a viable choice
8320 seems to work fine
8320 can be oced
they really have everything about hardware listed and coparrison tools at your dispossal
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd8320frhkbox better solution then fx 9590
http://www.game-debate.com/cpu/index.php?pid=1873&pid2=1146&compare=core-i5-4440-3-1ghz-vs-fx-6300 quality right there
R9 280should be a good deal the 270x 4gb is not really a true 4gb card not to mention their performance in games 280 excels the 270x with the bit interface
