If i were buying new drives now, I'd get SSDs, however these work well for mass storage and have served me well for years.

x2 of these hard drives from my Intel and now migrated into my AMD build. It's served it's purpose 6 years later. Mainly used as a cache/scratch drives.

I've cleaned my PC every 3-4 months. Having to lug my 760T build down two flights of stairs. And then back up. The build quality is robust from a reputable company like Seagate. With the move to M.2 I wouldn't hesitate to purchase their products again in the 2 TB category.

I've been using this since I got it with my original pre-built desktop in 2016 (just a little over three years now) and have only just recently started to notice any issues with it. However, it's outlived my original expectations for it and so it's not lost any points for that. Reliable drive, even with the issues I'm currently having with it.

Cheapest 2TB HDD I could find at the time - no issues, and nowhere near full after all these years!

Good cheap storage, and it runs well, don't hear it when idle, only when launching a big program off it.

I got this for free. I can't complain for a free 2TB hard drive. I found it in a desk at work, boss said I could have it. Been using it full time in my build for a couple years now.

Good price for mass storage, nothing amazingly fast, but it is a solid drive. but not solid state.

Was the original system storage but upgraded to SSD's for faster load. Still a great primary storage for video and other files.
