Excellent case for the money. Traveled with me across the Atlantic in a suitcase three times as it is: 1) sturdy enough, 2) light enough, and 3) compact enough to both fit into a suitcase yet house the full size ATX motherboard and full size ATX power supply, with many fans, 240mm cooler, etc. One plastic foot broke off, easily fit back in place. The case window is plastic so survived without damage on all flights.

I hate this thing. It looks stupid. It has stupid red LEDs. It has a stupid acrylic side panel. It has uninspiring cable management options.

The case, theoretically, has some good features. Fans can be installed in the front, back, bottom, and top of the case, in theory. The bottom fan mount is practically useless because it is right next to the power supply, so the space where you can install a fan is almost always going to be filled with cables. The front fans are a considerable distance from any components that actually need cooling. The top fans are in useful locations that happen to be very annoying to install because of their close-quarters with the motherbaord and its components. As much as I'd like to, I can't find a flaw in the back fan mount. The top, bottom, and front of the case have dust filters; the bottom is useful for the PSU intake (see pictures, it was WORKING), and the top filter suggests that top intake and/or top radiators are a good option. I wound up going for one intake in the front and one in the top, and one exhaust fan. This should be maximizing a positive pressure setup as best I can with what's available to me, and all of the intakes are protected by filters. I don't think it's ideal, but I also think that the ideal setup in this case would involve, well, buying a different case.

The Corsair Carbide Spec-02 comes with amenities that aren't common at this price point, such as the three included red LED fans and two 5.25 optical drive bays that most high-end cases don't have. The acrylic side panel window is a bonus too. It is more durable than a tempered glass one. If the side panel was tempered glass, it would've shattered. The interior of the chassis has no power supply shroud, allowing me to show off my RM750X power supply. I can also route cables with the many cable tie points provided within the case. Overall, the Carbide Spec-02 is a case that comes with all the necessities that I need.

Super cool case, lots of space for upgrading, comes with 2 fans, 2 USB 3.0 on front, no side skirt, but it runs cool. I don't think you can actually buy it anymore though, so that sucks, but if you could you totally should!

I don't suggest this for a first build case. It's extremely tight, very little wire clearance in the back and doesn't have great access points for sata cables on most ATX boards. Now if you've been building for a while? Sure knock yourself out! The case feels great if you know what you're doing! And it has lots of space if you're going with liquid cooling (plus channels for external loops if desired if i'm not mistaken? Not entirely sure.) But for this particular build i've made it wasn't my best choice.

OK case, cable management is a nightmare but it looks good.

I actually have the SPEC-01. But I still can't find it on PCPP.

The spec 02 is a lovely case, but only with rgb. Without rgb fans or strips the acrylic side panel is dark and boring. However with rgb, the side panel becomes more transparent, enabling the ability to see all the rgb goodness. My rgb strips, fans, and ram heatsink light up the case beautifully
